  • Patent number: 10661925
Abstract: A filling system for a machine used, in a tobacco industry for filling trays with rod-shaped articles that are dispensed from a dispenser, the filling system comprising a filling unit comprising rotary rollers for facilitating the passing or traversing of the rod-shaped articles from the dispenser to the tray below the filling system and a blocking unit for blocking passing or traversing of the rod-shaped articles from the dispenser to the tray. In an embodiment, the blocking unit may comprise pressing elements movable in a direction of axes of the rotary rollers between a blocked position, in which the pressing elements are located at a first distance, not greater than a length of the rod-shaped articles, from a back wall of the dispenser and an unblocked position, in which the pressing elements are located at a second distance, greater than the length of the rod-shaped articles, from the back wall of the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 10131489
Abstract: A carrier for a container for rod-like articles of the tobacco industry, the carrier interior having a cuboid-like shape, the carrier having a bottom wall, a middle sidewall and two outer sidewalls=adjoining it, while from the side of the remaining walls of the abovementioned cuboid the carrier is open. An external movable element is attached to the carrier and extending along the middle sidewall. The height of the middle sidewall is lower than the height of the outer sidewalls, so that between the outer sidewalls and the upper edge of the middle sidewall there is a void space. The movable element is movable between a first position, in which it lies opposite to the middle sidewall, and a second position, in which it lies at least partially opposite to the void space or at least partially is situated within the void space above upper edge of the middle sidewall.

  • Patent number: 9573707
Abstract: The object of the application is a filling hopper for a filling apparatus for multi-segment trays in the tobacco industry with a receiving region for rod like articles in the form of a mass flow and a storing region for rod like articles comprising side walls (8, 9) and a bottom wall (10), whereas the storing region has double partition walls (16) alternately forming a plurality of parallel cavities (15) and slots (14), where the partition walls (16) extend in principle along the entire height of the storing region. The partition walls (16) are connected with each other by means of a carrying framework so that at least from one side free access to the articles inside the cavities (15) is maintained. The carrying framework comprises at least one fastening area (19).

  • Patent number: 8573386
Abstract: System having a transitory store (S), in the inlet zone (5) of which, there are disposed fillers (4) for compartment trays, to which rod shaped elements are delivered by in-feed conveyors (3) in form of mass flow from making machines (1), and each machine is assigned with a separate filler (4). In the outlet zone (9) of the store (S) there are disposed unloaders (8) for said trays, and rod shaped elements are delivered by out-feed conveyors (10) in form of mass flow to processing machines (2), and each machine (2) is assigned with a separate unloader (8). On the trajectory of each out-feed conveyor (10) there is situated an emptying hopper (11) co-operating with a mobile filler (12) for compartment trays. Moreover in the inlet zone (5) of the store (S) there is situated a filler (4?) for compartment trays, connected to an unloader (6) for one chamber trays with an in-feed conveyor (3?), and an in-feed conveyor (14), and in the outlet zone (9) there is situated an out-feed conveyor (15).

  • Publication number: 20130101379
Abstract: A method, where a verification of positioning of articles (3) is effected by means of sensors (14), and an improvement of positioning is effected by aligning a plane of end faces of the articles (3), consists in that the verification and improvement of positioning of rod-like articles (3) is effected simultaneously by means of an aligning device (1) provided with sensors (14), where the sensors (14) detect correct filling and/or arrangement of the articles (3), and the aligning device (1) aligns the plane of end faces of the articles (3) correctly filling the inside of a tray (6, 6?) or an intermediate store (7,7?), and in the event of detection of incorrect filling and/or arrangement the aligning device (1) is switched off and the operation of the entire unit is interrupted.
