    Abstract: A license repository and method for maintaining the same are provided. In one embodiment, the method comprises the steps of maintaining a number of entities in the license repository in a server, the number entities including a number of licensors and a number of licensee, generating a number of licenses between respective pairs of the licensees and the licensors based upon an input from at least one of the licensees and the licensors, respectively, and, maintaining the licenses in the license repository.
