Abstract: A divider construction 10 for the back seat 101 of a vehicle 100 wherein the construction 10 includes a contoured generally S-shaped divider member 20 having an enlarged upper portion 22 which rests against the seat back 102, a lower portion 23 which extends in front of and below the seat surface 101, and an intermediate portion 24 which rests on top of the rear seat 101. The divider member 20 is provided with a pair of recesses 26 dimensioned to receive beverage receptacles and is further associated with a protective cover member 30 having both external 33 and internal 35 pockets.
