    Abstract: Solid lipid microspheres having a diameter lower than one micron and a polydispersion of between 0.06 and 0.90 obtained by adding to a molten lipid substance a mixture consisting of water, a surfactant and possibly a co-surfactant, dispersing in water the obtained microemulsion, washing with water the dispersion microspheres by diafiltration and lyophilizing.
