    Abstract: A modular unit attached to a solar panel. The modular unit comprises a heat exchanger having an inlet manifold and an outlet manifold and a plurality of spaced apart galleries extending there between, a plurality of thermoelectric modules disposed between the galleries and a plurality of heat sink tiles, the thermoelectric modules bonded to the heat sink tiles and clamped into abutment with the galleries. In use the modular unit is attached to the solar panel by bonding said heat sink tiles to said solar panel.
