Abstract: A milking cup comprising a flexible member provided with an opening for a teat on the top part thereof and pulling mechanism which is movable from a rest position in order to exert a pulling force on the flexible member for the purpose of enlarging the opening therein, wherein the flexible member is fixed to the pulling means, such that the pulling force engages at least partly evenly along the periphery of the flexible member.

Abstract: The casing of a rotary mowing device is formed of a series of tubular sections secured together to form a hollow, rigid unit. The intermediate portion is formed of a series of similar sections defining an open-ended, generally rectangular tube and there are two end sections closing these ends. The casing houses a series of gears and at intervals upstanding shafts project from the casing and to which the rotary cutting members are attached. The parting line between sections are disposed in planes each of which contains the axis of one of the shafts.

Abstract: A device for cooling castings and for treating moulding sand comprises a driven, rotatably journalled drum provided with internal catches extending substantially axially between an inlet end and an outlet end of the drum.For improving the stirring effect of the catches and for avoiding damage of castings and loss of valuable dust from the moulding sand, the catches have a stronger scooping effect near the inlet end than near the outlet end.
