  • Patent number: 9632515
Abstract: The present invention relates to pressure stabilizing mechanism and to a hydraulic pump including the pressure stabilizing mechanism. The pressure stabilizing mechanism comprises a frame, a piston and a first and second seals. The frame defines a piston chamber, a lower-pressure circuit and a higher-pressure inlet. The piston chamber has a first section of smaller circumference and a second section of larger circumference. The first section of the piston chamber connects the lower-pressure circuit and the higher-pressure inlet. The lower-pressure circuit further connects with the second section of the piston chamber. The lower-pressure circuit receives a fluid at a lower pressure and the higher-pressure inlet receives the fluid at a higher pressure. The piston is slidably movable in the piston chamber between an open position and a closed position.

  • Patent number: 9204626
Abstract: The present relates to a method and system for controlling an inclination of a boom with respect to a vehicle. A central frame member allows a pivotal movement of the boom with respect to the vehicle. Sensors collect data related to an inclination of the central frame member with respect to the vehicle. Control means control the inclination of the central frame member with respect to the vehicle. An electronic control unit actuates the control means based on the collected data. The control means may comprise breaking means for preventing a variation of the inclination of the central frame member, and adjustment means for modifying the inclination of the central frame member.

  • Patent number: 8814189
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a suspension element for maintaining a wheel on a frame of a vehicle. The suspension element can be attached to the frame via a fixed support. The wheel can be mounted to an arm that is pivotably connected to the fixed support. A hydraulic strut resists a pivoting movement of the arm in relation to the fixed support. A pressure accumulator comprises a gas chamber and a fluid chamber separated by a diaphragm. The fluid chamber is in fluid connection with the hydraulic strut. A movement of the arm relative to the fixed support causes a change of pressure in the pressure accumulator. An independent suspension comprising two such suspension elements is also disclosed. The two suspension elements comprise extensions of the fixed support mounted on the frame so that two wheels are coaxial when mounted on the frame.

  • Publication number: 20140215907
Abstract: The present relates to a steam concentration conduit, a steam concentration nozzle and weed killing apparatus for expanding and directing a flow of steam from a steam apparatus, into a concentrated flow of steam. The steam concentration conduit comprises a body having a first end and a second end. The first end is adapted for receiving the flow of steam from the steam apparatus. The body defines between the first end and the second end, a conduit for expanding and directing the flow of steam received at the first end into a concentrated flow of steam.

  • Patent number: 5729891
Abstract: A lead acid bipolar battery comprises a plurality of bipolar electrodes stacked between two monopolar end collectors in turn closed by end plates. All electrodes have respective plastic stiffening edge frames. The spacer frames are interposed between the electrodes to support the electrode frames. The spacer frames contain electrolyte supporting material and have electrolyte inlet bores and gas outlets. The stack is surrounded by a layer of eventually strengthened polyolefin material which seals the stack and provides a housing for the battery.

  • Patent number: 5667537
Abstract: The method of forming the battery electrode includes providing two complementary half-frames of plastic material each having a substantially flat face delimited by an outer closed line and an inner closed line, where the inner and outer closed lines enclose the perimeter of the plate. Next, a plate is placed within a pressure forming mold between the two half-frames so as to enclose the perimeter of the plate between the outer closed lines and the inner closed lines. Then the mold is closed and heated to a temperature causing the plastic material of the half-frames to fuse and adhere continuously along the entire perimeter of the plate.
