Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for enabling completion of purchase transactions by retrieving purchase card information from an electronic database of consumer cards and applying the appropriate card to the transaction. The database, managed by a central card authority, stores client account information for cards such as debit, credit, phone, and discount cards, which are accessible via a unique, secure login/access credential, such as a username and password combination. During registration with the central card authority, a client classifies key/important factors to consider when performing purchases. The central card authority is accessed by the client during purchases from a retail facility and/or other purchasing environment. The central card authority automatically selects the best card to utilize during a purchase, after weighing the important purchasing factors related to the credit, debit, phone, and discount cards registered with the central card authority.

Abstract: Generating Business Process Execution Language (‘BPEL’) control flows to populate a data warehouse for analysis of data of an operational system including identifying source tables in the operational system and one or more corresponding target tables in the data warehouse; creating BPEL steps to represent links between each source table in the operational system and each corresponding target table in the data warehouse; determining a sequence for the BPEL step; and adding the BPEL steps to a BPEL control flow according to the determined sequence.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for analyzing data using a data warehouse application are provided. The method, computer program product, and system provide for displaying a facet in a user interface of the data warehouse application, the facet classifying a plurality of documents, and displaying a facet attribute of the facet in the user interface of the data warehouse application, the facet attribute corresponding to a characteristic associated with each of the plurality of documents classified by the facet.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for integrating faceted and predefined multi-dimensional search interfaces are provided. The method, computer program product, and system provide for displaying a first set of results from a search request in a faceted search interface and a second set of results from the search request in a predefined multi-dimensional search interface, and responsive to a user action in the predefined multi-dimensional search interface affecting a scope of the search request, synchronizing the faceted search interface with changes in the predefined multi-dimensional search interface without requiring a separate user action in the faceted search interface.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable medium for displaying results of a search query. In one implementation, the method includes receiving a query, obtaining documents that satisfy the query, constructing a facet hierarchy based on documents that satisfy the query, creating a cube structure based on the facet hierarchy, and displaying a multi-dimensional search interface based on the cube structure.

In one implementation, the method includes identifying a plurality of phases associated with the application, in which each phase corresponds to a time period during a lifecycle of the application. The method further includes defining a range of phases among the plurality of phases associated with the application during which a value of the parameter can be changed.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for integrating and data activities in a process flow. A data transformation activity is invoked through local or remote invocation. The data transformation activity is part of a process flow defined in a standard business process execution language format and is invoked from within the process flow. A system for executing a process flow including one or more control activities and one or more data transformation activities is also described. The system includes a process control engine for executing activities included in the process flow, a data transformation subsystem for storing domain specific definitions of data transformation processes of data in one or more databases, and a control data repository for storing domain specific activity information related to the process flow.

Abstract: A method of automatic replication setup is disclosed. The method allows the business application user to focus on the requirements posed by the business application and to abstract from the low level infrastructure details. Information specific to the databases and infrastructure design decisions can be provided by a subject matter expert. By automating the requirements analysis and infrastructure setup process, the time to deliver can be decreased significantly and the potential for errors reduced.
