Abstract: Novel compounds, that is, alkoxy- and phenoxy-alkyl esters of 2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-difluoromethoxyphenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxy li c acid have the following general formula useful for producing hypotensive and vasodilation effects.

Abstract: Novel compounds, viz. 3-(2,2,2-trisubstituted hydrazinium) propionates have the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are an alkyl, a substituted alkyl, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl, an aralkyl or an unsaturated alkyl;R.sup.4, R.sup.5 are hydrogen or a lower alkyl; n is 0 to 2, except for the case where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are methyl, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are not hydrogen.The compounds of the present invention possess both hypotensive and antiarrhythmic activity and are useful in medicine.

Abstract: A novel pharmaceutical preparation for the treatment of hypertensive disease and myocardial infarction, which comprises as an active ingredient, (1,1-dimethyl-3-oxopyrazolidin-1-io-4-yl)acetate of the following formula: ##STR1## and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.

Abstract: A compound 2,6-dimethyl-3,5-bis-(1-adamantylhydroxycarbonyl)-4-(2-difluoromethoxyphen yl)-1,4-dihydropyridine of the formula ##STR1## is proposed. Said compound possesses antianginal activity.

Abstract: 2-(2,6-dimethyl-3,5-diethoxycarbonyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-4-carboxamide) glutaric acid of formula I and its disodium salt of formula II ##STR1## Said acid is obtained from glutaminic acid and dimethyl 3,5-diethoxycarbonyl-1,4-dihydroisonicotic acid.For obtaining disodium salt, said acid is reacted with a caustic soda solution.These compounds possess antiarrhythmic activity.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of cardio-vascular diseases comprising 3-(2,2,2-trimethylhydrazinium) propionate dihydrate of the following formula:(CH.sub.3).sub.3 N.sup.+ NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 COO.sup.- .multidot.2H.sub.2 Oand a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent.
