Abstract: An apparatus for providing convenient grasping of a router adjacent base/motor housing includes a base for supporting a motor housing for driving a working tool. A generally L-shaped handle including a connecting member and grasping member is connected to the base for permitting a user to comfortably manipulate the power tool adjacent the motor housing. In further aspect, a removable a generally L-shaped handle includes a channel extending through the handle for directing dust and debris away from the working tool.

Abstract: A multi-tier cabinet storage installation includes lower and upper storage units which may be wire drawers. The lower and upper units are connected by posts having detachable connections allowing compact packaging in a disassembled condition. A spacer that may be inverted allows adjustment of the elevation of the upper unit to accommodate varying cabinet heights. A modified embodiment intended for use when obstructions are present in the cabinet has a reduced width upper unit for clearing the obstructions and is reversible while still providing a handle in the front regardless of which way the installation is made.

Abstract: A router includes a motor housing containing a motor and coupled to a tool holder configured to receive a tool bit that is driven rotationally by the motor. A base receives the motor housing for movement in an axial direction along a longitudinal axis of the motor housing. A depth adjustment mechanism enables adjustment of a position of the motor housing relative to the base along the axial direction. The depth adjustment mechanism has a threaded shaft rotationally coupled to one of the motor housing and the base and a thread engaging member coupled to the other of the motor housing and the base. The threaded shaft is engageable with the thread engaging member. A seam defined in the base adjacent to the depth adjustment mechanism.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a hand-held circular saw with an integrated dust collection system. Such saw may include an upper blade guard for protecting the user from a saw blade, the upper blade guard configured with a front region and a back region, the front region including a hollow channel to control the pathway of dust and debris and a dust collection system incorporated within the front region of the upper blade guard allowing dust and debris to be directed away from the user.

Abstract: A compressor including a shroud for at least partially encompassing a component included in a compressor. A recess suitable for accepting at least two differently sized air filters having a similar geometric shaped is formed in the shroud. The compressor/filter system may utilize commonly available air filters which are designed for an unrelated device, but which are suitable for the purpose of filtering air for compressors. A fluid connection may extend between the enclosure forming the recess in the shroud and an inlet included in a compressor pump for pressuring air to a higher pressure. A securing mechanism, such as a panel door, may be implemented for securing an individual air filter in the path of air being drawn into the fluid connection for pressurization by the pump.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for integrating various systems such as a battery charging system, an industrial lighting system and an electrical distribution system. The present invention may include an industrial light, a battery charging mechanism for recharging batteries of power tools, and an electrical distribution system allowing additional corded electric tools and appliances to receive power through the electrical distribution system of the apparatus. Additionally, a power surge protector may be included in the apparatus. The integration of various systems may reduce the number of appliances required at a jobsite, further reducing the clutter at the jobsite.
