  • Patent number: 8328284
Abstract: Lock release assemblies which are accessible at the rear of a rotatable fold-down back of a collapsible home or office chair. The lock release assemblies are adapted to be manually manipulated by the user to control the rotation of the fold-down back from a locked upright position standing vertically above the seat of the chair to an unlocked folded position lying horizontally over the seat in face-to-face alignment therewith. With the back rotated to its folded position, the chair will have a compact, space-efficient configuration which is suitable for storage and/or transport.

  • Patent number: 5952072
Abstract: This invention provides a method for restoring at least one means defining a railroad spike hole located in a used railroad tie. In this way, the restored railroad tie can be reused in subsequent rail replacement operations. The restored railroad tie is capable of having a railroad spike penetrate and be retained within the confines of the restored railroad spike hole without substantial bending problems. The used railroad tie provided has at least one spike hole located therein. In each the means defining a railroad spike hole is formed a polymeric plug. The polymeric plug comprises a substantially non-foaming, non-cellular polymeric material. The polymeric material preferably comprises a polyurethane. The polymeric plug infiltrates and tightly bonds with the railroad spike hole to prevent moisture infiltration. Thus, substantial tie rot due to moisture is impeded, and the leaky railroad spike hole is effectively and efficiently dammed to enable complete filling thereof.

  • Patent number: 5884067
Abstract: A memory controller method and apparatus wherein data to be written to a memory device is stored in a data queue, the data queue has a plurality of entries wherein at least two of the entries are combined to store a single datum, the single datum is wider than a single entry of the entries and addresses associated with the stored data of the data queue are stored in an address queue, thereby providing a circular write buffer. Specific memory modules of a plurality of memory modules to be refreshed are indicated to a refresh controller to thereby selectively control which of the memory modules are refreshed by the refresh controller. Access is controlled to the plurality of memory modules, each of the memory modules having an associated type. Configuration status information indicating the associated type for each of the memory modules is stored so that, if an access operation is performed to a wrong type, uncorrectable error faults are generated and can be detected.
