  • Publication number: 20190143056
Abstract: Patient information is associated with a respective ventilator device of a medical ventilator devices. Based on the ventilator data and associating the patient information, a ventilation configuration of the respective ventilator device and patient ventilation data related to a ventilation of the respective patient are determined. A current configuration of each of the plurality of medical ventilators is provided for display. In this regard, a display includes the determined ventilation configuration of the respective ventilator device and patient ventilation data of the respective patient. A control may also be displayed for changing a setting associated with the respective ventilator device and, when a change of the setting is received and implemented by the respective ventilator device, an indication of the change of the setting may be provided. • Publication number: 20190054585
Abstract: An apparatus, system and method for adhesive fixturing include UV light sources that are connectable to a fixture when the fixture is not attached to the stage of a workcell. A support structure holds the UV light sources in alignment with gripper pins communicating through the fixture. A bus connector operably connects the UV light sources to a control box of the workcell. Attaching the UV light sources to the fixtures outside of the workcell increases the throughput of the workcell and reduces the cost of the fixtured work pieces.

  • Patent number: 10182509
Abstract: A wedge clamp is provided. The wedge clamp includes wedge members aligned with a shaft and in sliding contact with surfaces of the neighboring wedge members. Some of wedge members each include a finger and a void, with the finger of a first member slidably inserted within the void of a second wedge member and vice versa. The fingers and voids extend at an acute angle, and the fingers and voids of other wedge members extend at another acute angle on an opposite side of a vertical axis. When the shaft is rotated some wedge members vertically translate with respect to the remaining wedge members. When the shaft is rotated in the reverse direction the wedge members translate vertically in the opposite direction returning to an original position. The interaction of the fingers and voids mechanically drive the moved wedge members into the original state.

  • Publication number: 20190001157
Abstract: A proton beam therapy system with a cantilever gantry system and a moving floor system. The moving floor system includes a flexible moving floor and a track that is disposed vertically and affixed to an external wall. The track includes a lateral portion providing a linear lateral path for the part of the moving floor and non-lateral portions providing a vertical path for the excess of the floor. The non-lateral portions may be located above or below the lateral portion. During rotation of the cantilever gantry and when the beam nozzle is positioned under the patient table, an opening is maintained in the floor through which the beam nozzle protrudes. The opening follows the changing positions of the beam nozzle and moves in the floor plane in synchronization with the rotation of the gantry.

  • Patent number: 10157145
Abstract: Embodiments disclose techniques for sharing a context for a coherent accelerator in a kernel of a computer system. A request is received from a first application to perform an I/O operation within a kernel context. The request specifies a first effective address distinct to the first application. The first effective address specifies a location in a first effective address space and a first effective segment identifier. The first effective address is remapped to a second effective address. The second effective address specifies a location in a second effective address space of the kernel context and a second effective segment identifier. A virtual address mapping to a virtual address space within the kernel context is determined. The virtual address is translated to a physical memory address.

  • Publication number: 20180333643
Abstract: Systems and methods for indicating that a boundary is crossed during execution of a video game are described. One of the methods includes generating, by a camera, a field-of-view, the field-of-view encompassing a plurality of boundaries that define a volume. The method further includes capturing, by the camera, one or more images of a head-mounted display (HMD) within the field-of-view. The method includes identifying, by a processor, a position of the HMD in a real-world environment from the one or more images. The method includes determining, by the processor, whether the HMD at the position has crossed one of the boundaries. The method includes generating one or more video frames including a guard rail upon determining that the HMD has crossed the one of the boundaries and sending the one or more video frames to the HMD for display.
