  • Publication number: 20240134360
Abstract: To provide enhanced search capabilities in a process control system, a knowledge repository is generated that includes both contextual data and time series data. The contextual data organizes process plant-related data according to semantic relations between the process plant-related data and the process plant entities. When a user submits a process plant search query related to process plant entities within a process plant, search results are obtained by identifying a data set from the knowledge repository. The contextual data categorizes process parameters so that users can search for a particular process parameter category. Users can tag previous searches to execute them once again at a later time.

  • Patent number: 9766662
Abstract: A shield feature and method of forming to prevent transmission of electromagnetic radiation is disclosed. The shield feature may include a first protrusion and a second protrusion, both of which are formed from an electrically conductive material. A non-electrically conductive material may cover the electrically conductive material in certain regions. The first protrusion, the second protrusion, and an extension between the first protrusion and the second protrusion are free of non-electrically conductive material, allowing the electrically conductive material to engage an enclosure of an electronic device. Also, a distance separates the first protrusion and the second protrusion that is less than a distance defined by a wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation, allowing the shield feature to prevent the electromagnetic radiation from passing through the shield feature.

  • Publication number: 20140055784
Abstract: An spectrometer having a first lens, a perforated focal plane mask having a front surface and rear surface and a plurality of perforations, the first lens configured to focus incoming radiation onto a front surface of the focal plane mask, each of the perforations of the focal plane mask causing a radiation beam that is emitted from the rear surface of the focal plane mask, a dispersing element receiving the radiation beams and configured to disperse each of the radiation beams into dispersed radiation beams, a second lens, and a focal plane array, the second lens configured to focus the dispersed radiation beams onto the focal plane array.
