  • Patent number: 11970849
Abstract: Mounting assemblies for waste disposers such as food waste disposers, waste disposers employing such mounting assemblies, and related methods are disclosed herein. Mounting assemblies include an engagement feature having a first engagement structure located on the body flange and a second engagement structure located on the upper portion of the disposer body. When the engagement feature is in the engaged position, the body flange and the disposer body are engaged, forming a combined disposer and body flange assembly. The combined disposer and body flange assembly can be lifted into alignment with the strainer flange assembly and rotated as a unit to engage the body flange with the mounting flange.

  • Publication number: 20240107956
Abstract: A method for excluding an aggressive incompatibility (AI) trait from Agaricus bisporus mushroom strains, wherein the method includes mating a culture of a hybrid mushroom line designated B18287-s82, a representative culture of the line having been deposited under NRRL Accession No. 68168, with a culture of the white mushroom line designated WBL-s290, to obtain an F1 hybrid mushroom strain designated J19109, a representative culture of the F1 strain having been deposited under NRRL Accession No. 68163. Upon fruiting a culture of the new F1 strain designated J19109 to obtain homokaryotic spores therefrom, one obtains cultures of homokaryotic lines from the homokaryotic spores from F1 strain J19109 and selects a culture of a homokaryotic line from the F1 strain J19109. The culture of a homokaryotic line from F1 strain J19109 is mated with a culture of the mushroom line designated J11500-s80, to obtain an F2 hybrid mushroom strain.

  • Publication number: 20220319075
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for receiving a plurality of customized avatars where each customized avatar within the plurality of customized avatars include a first and second image layer. The first image layer includes input of text data overlaid on top of the second image layer, and the second image layer includes a personalized avatar. The system and method further includes receiving a modification of the input of text data from a text interface, generating a third image layer including a representation of text data associated with the modification of the input of text data, removing the first image layer from each of the customized avatars and overlaying the third image layer on top of the second image layer of each of the customized avatars.

  • Patent number: 11340750
Abstract: A user interface is provided for allowing a user to interact with a graphical display. Quantitative data is initially displayed in a graphical format representing absolute values. A comparative graph is also made available, either automatically or in response to user input; the comparative graph presents each data entry according to its relative value as compared with one specific baseline entry.

  • Patent number: 10937671
Abstract: Matching of coefficient of thermal expansion for heat spreaders and carrier die can facilitate optoelectronic die alignment. In one example, an apparatus comprises a carrier die comprising a first coefficient of thermal expansion, two or more optoelectronic die disposed on the carrier die, and a spreader. The spreader can comprise a second material coefficient of thermal expansion matched to the first coefficient of thermal expansion. Additionally, a thermal interface material is disposed between the spreader and the one or more optoelectronic die.

  • Patent number: 9709964
Abstract: A method includes determining an average set load corresponding to a plurality of gensets of a power system, generating a power error based on the determined average set load and a set load of a genset of the plurality, generating a first offset based on a function of the power error and a predetermined factor, determining a secondary offset, generating a final offset based on the first offset and the secondary offset, generating a final reference value based on a nominal reference and the final offset, and applying the final reference value to obtain proportional load sharing between the plurality of gensets.

  • Patent number: 8914740
Abstract: A user interface is provided for allowing a user to interact with a graphical display, so as to facilitate comparative viewing of components of the display. A bar graph or other quantitative display is provided, wherein each bar is divided into a plurality of segments. Responsive to user input, segments of a given kind, in different bars, are realigned with one another along a common baseline, so that their sizes can be more easily compared with one another. In at least one embodiment, the realignment is transitory, and the original graph is restored upon further user input and/or after some predetermined time period.
