  • Patent number: 11098977
Abstract: A pneumatic gun designed to provide uniform, constant acceleration to a projectile which includes a gas storage tank designed to store a blend of gases under pressure. The pneumatic gun also includes a buttstock that includes a pre-chamber storage vessel in fluid communication with the storage tank. The pneumatic gun further includes a sleeve valve in fluid communication with the pre-chamber storage vessel and designed to control flow of the blend of gases from the pre-chamber storage vessel into a nozzle located adjacent the sleeve valve. The nozzle is shaped to accelerate a velocity of the blend of gases across an axial length of the nozzle. The pneumatic gun also includes a trigger that is designed to open the sleeve valve when the trigger is actuated such that the sleeve valve remains open until a projectile exits a barrel of the pneumatic gun.
