Patent number: 10129217Abstract: A first information handling system receives a security challenge and forwards it to a second information handling system. The second information handling system retrieves a private key from a public/private encryption key pair and satisfies the challenge with the private key. The second information handling system forwards the satisfied challenge without divulging the private key. The second information handling system is in a more secure environment than the first information handling system. The challenge may be satisfied by signing the challenge with the private key. Satisfying the challenge may be a step in creating a secure shell connection between the first information handling system and an organization maintaining the first information handling system and the second information handling system.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2015Date of Patent: November 13, 2018Assignee: DELL SOFTWARE, INC.Inventors: Carolyn Duby, Mark B. King, Aric LeDell, Elchanan Oren, Michael Vincent

Patent number: 9762626Abstract: A method includes selecting a first connection between a connection manager and a managed system, the first connection being associated with a first privilege level, communicating by the connection manager a first command to the managed system via the first connection, determining that a second command is executable on the managed system using a connection that is associated with a second privilege level, the second privilege level being a lower privilege level than the first privilege level, selecting a second connection between the connection manager and the managed system, the second connection being associated with the second privilege level, and communicating, by the connection manager, the second command to the managed system via the second connection.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2016Date of Patent: September 12, 2017Assignee: SECUREWORKS CORP.Inventors: Carolyn Duby, Mark B. Publication number: 20020192377Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus and method for distributing gas to multiple feeds into a chamber 125 to process a substrate 115. In one embodiment, the system 155 includes a process gas injector 190 for introducing process gas into the chamber 125 and a shield assembly 200 having a number of shield bodies 210, 215, adjacent to the process gas injector to reduce deposition of process byproducts thereon. Each shield body 210, 215, has a screen 230 and a metering tube 240 with an array of holes 245 therein to deliver shield gas through the screen. Shield gas is supplied to the metering tubes 240 through a number of flowpaths 255, each having a flow limiter 265 with an orifice 270 sized so that equal flows of shield gas are provided from each of the shield bodies 210, 215. Preferably, the orifices 270 are also sized so that the flow of shield gas through each metering tube 240 is constant, even if the shield gas is supplied from a supply that varies in pressure or flow.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2002Publication date: December 19, 2002Inventors: Lawrence Duane Bartholomew, Soon K. Yuh, Gregory Mark Stumbo, Mark B. King, Jeffrey Chan
