  • Patent number: 10098331
Abstract: An animal feeder has a hopper body adjustably mounted on a mounting base for directing feed material in a selected direction. The mounting base includes a pair of ground support elements pivotally mounted on a lateral support plate with a pair of pivot bolts, and further including a locking bolt that enables the lateral support plate to be pivotally adjusted with respect to the pair of ground support elements. The hopper body is rotatably mounted on the lateral support plate via a center bolt. A feed dispensing mechanism discharges the feed material through a feed discharge aperture, in a direction that is adjusted via the positioning of the adjustment base.

  • Patent number: 9700014
Abstract: A game feeder has a hopper body for storing the feed material, a feed outlet, a funnel extending downwardly from around the feed outlet opening to a lower aperture, and a cylindrical feeder tube that extends from around the funnel to an upper perimeter that further from the hopper body than the funnel. A lower housing has an annular wall that extends upwardly to a lower perimeter, which may include an outwardly extending annular flange. Support struts in the form of rods connect the lower housing to the hopper body to support the hopper body above the lower housing, such that the upper perimeter of the feeder tube is adjacent but spaced from the lower perimeter of the annular wall of the lower housing, to form an annular feed discharge slot therebetween.

  • Patent number: 9301495
Abstract: A livestock feeder has a hopper, a feed outlet opening through the hopper for dispensing the feed, a feed trough operably positioned beneath the hopper for receiving the feed, and a broadcast spreader mechanism that includes a sling plate that is operably mounted to cover the feed outlet opening. The broadcast spreader mechanism has a motor for spinning the sling plate for broadcasting the feed outwardly when in operation. A retracting mechanism retracts the sling plate to uncover the feed outlet opening when the sling plate spins, so that the feed from the hopper falls downwardly into the broadcast spreader mechanism to be broadcast and dispensed. A tubular skirt surrounds the broadcast spreader mechanism for catching the feed as it is broadcast, and directing the feed downwardly into the feed trough.

  • Patent number: 8307576
Abstract: A firearm support apparatus has a table element having legs for supporting the table element in a generally horizontal configuration, a forward cradle assembly mounted on a forward portion of the table element, and a rearward cradle assembly mounted on a rearward portion of the table element. The forward cradle assembly may comprise a mounting post, an adjustment plate mounted on the mounting collar and extending laterally therefrom, and a pair of adjustment collars mounted on the adjustment plate laterally spaced from one another. A lateral adjustment rod has ends engaged with the adjustment collars, and an externally threaded median portion threadedly engaged with an adjustment slide. A forward cradle is mounted on an adjustment slide for adjustable mounting a forward part of the rifle.

  • Patent number: 4874693
Abstract: A method is presented for detecting placental dysfunction that is diagnostic of aneuploid chromsomal abnormalities. It is particularly useful for diagnosing pregnancies at risk for fetal aneuploid chromosome abnormalities, and consists of quantitating the hormone human chroionic gonadotropin (HCG) alone or in combination with the free alpha subunit of HCG (alpha-HCG). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, bodily fluids from women between 18 and 25 weeks of gestation are assayed using an immunoassay. Levels of 2.5 or more multiples of the median value for normal pregnancies (MOM) for HCG and/or alpha-HCG are indicative of fetal chromosome abnormalities. This test will detect approximately 70% of fetuses with chromosome aneuploidy.
