Abstract: A vehicle email notification system and method in which templates are used to automatically generate email messages that provide the recipient with diverse types of dynamic vehicle information. The email notifications are triggered by different events, some of which are independent of the vehicle (e.g., a monthly trigger), and others of which occur at the vehicle, such as a mileage or low oil life trigger. The notification system selects an appropriate template based on the type of trigger and uses that template to build and send to the subscriber an email message that contains the dynamic vehicle information and identifies any detected vehicle condition for which action is needed. In addition to trigger type, different templates can be defined for each combination of vehicle type (e.g., make of vehicle), trigger type, and a language preference (e.g., English, Spanish).

Abstract: A vehicle email notification system and method that accesses data from the vehicle as well as from one or more other sources and combines the information into an email that is then sent to the owner or other authorized subscriber. The email notifications are triggered by different events, some of which are independent of the vehicle (e.g., a monthly trigger), and others of which occur at the vehicle, such as a mileage or low oil life trigger. The notification system builds and sends to the subscriber an email message that contains the dynamic vehicle information and identifies any detected vehicle condition for which action is needed.

Abstract: An aqueous, isotropic liquid detergent composition comprising an aqueous solution of:a) an anionic surfactant; andb) an optical brightener of formula I ##STR1## in which X is hydrogen, NH.sub.4.sup..sym., or a cation of an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal or an organic amine;R.sub.1 is selected from morpholino or anilino unsubstituted or substituted by 1, 2 or 3 groups selected from C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy and halogen; piperidinyl, unsubstituted or substituted by 1 or 2 C.sub.1-4 alkyl groups; hexamethyleneimino, pyrrolidino, C.sub.1-8 alkylamino; C.sub.1-8 dialkylamino; or a 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyl residue;R.sub.2 has a significance of R.sub.1 independently of R.sub.1 ;provided that when both groups R.sub.1 (or R.sub.2) are morpholino or unsubstituted anilino, the other groups R.sub.2 (or R.sub.1 respectively), are not both unsubstituted anilino.
