  • Patent number: 6273035
Abstract: A first and second baffle formed of a thin sheet metal material are introduced into an engine induction system on the upstream side of air fuel metering device and interposed between the air fuel metering device and a tubular intake runner in order to prevent post engine shut down fuel boiling. The first and second baffles absorb heat from the induction system and dissipate heat to the surrounding atmosphere. The first and second baffles are sized sufficiently large to limit peak fuel temperature in the fuel metering device 130° F. when a hot engine is shut down in a 70° F. environment.

  • Patent number: 6022277
Abstract: A swing with a pivotably attached tray for pivotable movement about a generally vertical axis, a vibrating mechanism attachable to a seat bottom of the swing, wheels mounted on a frame for selective engagement with the floor when the frame is tilted back when grasping a pair of handles on the frame, a lost motion coupling mechanism for a motorized drive mechanism, and a reclinable seat with an adjustment wire for selecting different reclined positions.

  • Patent number: 5203581
Abstract: A baby walker includes a seat supported by a tray for surrounding a child in a standing position, and permitting the walker to move with the child as he walks, and for supporting a child in a seated position, a friction pad on the walker for selectively engaging the surface upon which the walker is supported for selectively inhibiting movement of the walker, a plurality of supporting wheels on the walker for supporting the walker for rolling translation on the supporting surface, and an adjustable suspension coupled between the walker and one or more of the supporting wheels for selectively actuating one of three modes of operation, namely a first mode in which the friction pad engages the surface substantially continuously for inhibiting movement of the walker, a second mode in which the walker is movably supported on the wheels when the child is standing and is supported on the friction pad means for inhibiting translation when the child is seated, and a third mode in which the walker is continuously suppor

  • Patent number: 4795209
Abstract: A tray is secured to a baby carrier in a manner which permits both pivoting and removal by use of a hinge connection combined with a releasable hook. The hinge is joined to the tray edge while the hook is inserted through a slot in the side arm of the carrier, to engage an external flange on the carrier in a locking relationship. The hook is releasable by manual pressure. In preferred embodiments, the hinge connection has two pivot axes together providing a wide arc of rotation. A latch on the opposite side of the tray, similarly releasable by manual pressure, secures the tray in place.

  • Patent number: 4744599
Abstract: A latch mechanism for securing a detachable seat to a frame such as that used on a child's swing is comprised of a hook depending from a hub on each side of the seat, and a U-shaped collar to receive the hub with a flange to engage the hook. As the hook slides along the flange, the angle of the seat with respect to the frame is varied, and a retractable bolt secures the hook at either of two positions along the flange.
