  • Publication number: 20170209880
Abstract: A texture sprayer comprises an air compressor, a motor, a spray gun, an airflow switch, and a pressure switch. The air compressor is disposed to send the pressurized gas down a pneumatic line, and is driven by the motor. The spray gun receives pressurized gas from the pneumatic line, and expels the gas when actuated. The airflow and pressure switches are both disposed on the pneumatic line. The airflow switch is situated between the spray gun and the air reservoir, and powers the motor when gas flows through the airflow switch. The pressure switch powers the motor whenever pressure within the pneumatic line falls below a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20170204571
Abstract: A line striper having a spray control system includes a spray gun, a lever, first and second cables, a manual actuator, and an assisted control. The lever is configured to move between a spray position and an inactive position. The first cable is mechanically linked to the lever. The manual control is mechanically linked to the first cable and configured to pull the first cable rearward to move the lever into the spray position. The second cable is mechanically linked to the lever. The assisted control is configured to pull the second cable rearward to move the lever into the spray position. The lever is independently moveable relative to the first and second cables such that movement of the lever caused by the first cable does not compress the second cable and movement of the lever caused by the second cable does not compress the first cable.

  • Publication number: 20140369874
Abstract: A check valve comprises a housing, a fluid passage, a seat, a valve member and a stop. The fluid passage extends through the housing. The seat is disposed in the fluid passage. The valve member is positioned in the passage to engage the seat. The stop extends through the housing to engage the valve member. The stop is accessible from outside the housing to adjust a distance the valve member can travel from the seat. In one embodiment, the stop includes a variable stop feature, such as an offset pin or a cam. In another embodiment, the stop includes a pump control valve. In yet another embodiment, the housing includes markings to indicate a position of the stop. The valve member comprises a ball or a poppet in different embodiments.

  • Publication number: 20120299364
Abstract: A scarifier is provided with a floating axle 16 which allows the head 22 of the unit to follow the contour of the to-be-ground surface. The floating axle 16 will allow the two large outboard wheels 46 to guide the unit, but still maintain pressure on the smaller guide wheels 50. The floating axle 16 can also be locked to compensate for extremely uneven conditions.

  • Publication number: 20120298081
Abstract: The invention provides a method of attaching a propulsion unit 12 to a scarifier 10. The device 22 verifies via a switch 24 closure that the coupler 14 and ball 16 are attached. The switch 24 is located in the tube 26 to which the ball 16 mounts. When the coupler 14 is placed on the ball 16 a spring loaded plate 28 is depressed. This plate 28 travels down with the coupler and activates the switch 24. The scarifier 10 can be configured to prevent operation unless the propulsion unit 12 is attached via the hitch. The object of this interlock is to encourage operators to use the propulsion unit in order to minimize vibration to the operator.

  • Publication number: 20120018545
Abstract: The invention, generally (10), has an injection molded box (12), in which is mounted a small air compressor (14). The modular assembly (16) can be installed in place of the intake filters (18) on an HVLP spray system (20), with the filter componentry (18) being relocated to the air intake side (22) of the compressor package (16).

  • Patent number: 8002164
Abstract: A mold plate to parking location interface includes: a mold plate for holding solder; a fill head with an o-ring for dispensing solder bumps on the mold plate; a parking location for locating the fill head; and a platform between the mold plate and the parking location for relatively moving the fill head from the first location to the second location such that the o-ring decompresses as it passes over the platform.
