  • Publication number: 20070204398
Abstract: The present invention provides a portable eyewash system having a main conduit able to receive fluid from various fluid sources. The main conduit is coupled to a fluid division conduit, which defines a fluid inlet, a first fluid outlet, and a second fluid outlet. The first and second fluid outlets are in fluid communication with first and second flexible tubes, respectively, which then direct fluid flow to first and second eyewash cups. The present invention may further include a fluid regulating element coupled to either flexible tube, as well as a pressure relief element in fluid communication with the main conduit.

  • Publication number: 20070096046
Abstract: The present invention provides a chuck for a container having a valve assembly biased towards a primary closed position, where the valve assembly can be actuated to a secondary open position for dispensing fluid. The chuck includes a fixation element which is engageable with the valve assembly of the container, as well as a biasing element which actuates the valve assembly of the container into the secondary open position in order to dispense fluid, allowing hands-free operation of the container. The fixation element may include a first and second prong positionable proximate the valve assembly of the container, while the biasing element may include a third prong having a protrusion for overcoming the predisposed primary closed position of the valve assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070095999
Abstract: The present invention provides a soap caddy removeably attachable to a water cooler having a mounting bracket. The soap caddy includes a body, with the body defining a mating structure. The mating structure may include two projecting portions extending from the body, where the two projecting portions may each include an end cap extending from the projecting portion at a substantially perpendicular angle. In addition, the body provides a base extending from the planar body, and the base may define an aperture. The soap caddy can further include at securing element extending from the body.

  • Publication number: 20060058960
Abstract: A wireless communication interface for inertial measurement unit is disclosed. One or more instrumentation sensors, a processor, a wireless radio frequency transceiver with an antenna, and a power source are sealed within an inertial sensor assembly. The processor is adapted to receive output signals from the instrumentation sensors and to convert the output signals into a stream of digital data packets. A radio frequency transceiver is coupled to the processor and adapted to wirelessly communicate the stream of digital data packets through the antenna. In one embodiment, the radio frequency transceiver is further adapted to wirelessly receive a stream of digital data packets through the antenna and communicate the received digital data packets to the processor.

  • Publication number: 20050284889
Abstract: A hand wash system, comprising a fluid reservoir including an upper face, a lower face and a side face, with the lower face having a surface area that is greater than a surface area of the upper face, and an opening in the side face for discharging fluid from the reservoir. Embodiments of the present invention further include an integrated soap holder, a towel protrusion, as well as a handle.

  • Publication number: 20050231735
Abstract: A system and method that replaces safety requirements of a laser detection system by shifting the wavelength of a detection laser. An optical wavelength converter that shifts the optical wavelength of a detection laser from a first wavelength within the Infrared “A” portion of the spectrum to a more eye-safe wavelength. The detection laser is directed to the surface of a remote target. Ultrasonic displacements at the surface scatter the filtered detection laser. Collection optics then gather phase modulated light scattered by the surface and direct the phase modulated light to an optical processor that produces a signal representative of the ultrasonic displacements. Signal processors then determine the internal structure of the remote target based on the signal.

  • Patent number: 6802153
Abstract: The present invention provides a system for applying a chemical, such as an herbicide, to a surface. A chemical reservoir stores a quantity of the chemical for dispensation to the surface. A flow control unit in fluid communication with the chemical reservoir has a conduit in which the chemical flows. The flow control unit is adjustable to control the rate of chemical flow in the conduit. At least one wiper assembly is in fluid communication with the flow control unit. The wiper assembly includes at least one wick sheet which receives and absorbs the chemical received from the flow control unit and applies the chemical to the surface via a wiping action.
