Abstract: An electrical plug securing device provides a length of material and embodies appendages into which are formed slots. The device is attached to the faceplate of an electrical outlet using a machine screw and the screw hole already provided to affix the faceplate to the outlet. An electrical cord is then plugged into the outlet and the cord is wrapped around the device, going through the slots and being held there by friction. Thus, the plug is prevented from being removed from the outlet inadvertently.
