Abstract: A load bearing structure with a base and an array of load bearing members, each load bearing member having the general form of a cantilevered beam and made of a resilient material, and having a tip, generally front and back faces, and a bottom, the bottom for interengaging the load bearing member and the load bearing structure. The beam generally increases in thickness from tip to bottom, and both faces are generally planar.
