Publication number: 20180239581Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include methods, systems and computer program products for generating at least one control parameter for controlling a signal processor that processes audio signals. A point set is defined, wherein the point set may assume a plurality of topological configurations. Each topological configuration comprises at least one region, each of the at least one region associated with at least one or more topological attributes. A mapping is defined from each of the plurality of topological configurations to a respective plurality of parameters, wherein the mapping is performed based upon the topological attributes of said topological configuration. A user input is received wherein the user input expresses a transformation of the point set from a first topological configuration a second topological configuration. An updated set of topological attributes is determined based upon the second topological configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 20, 2018Publication date: August 23, 2018Inventors: Lawrence Mark Guterman, Jonathan L. Lederman

Publication number: 20040151565Abstract: An apparatus for transporting and filling a freight container, such as an ISO standard intermodal container, with grain or other crop at the point of harvest. The apparatus includes a chassis adapted to support the freight container and a hopper for receiving grain from a harvesting machine. A conveyor moves the grain from the hopper and into the container. The apparatus is pulled by a tractor or can be a self propelled vehicle to move the container through a field to the harvester to receive grain and fill the container while the harvester continues to move through the field harvesting grain.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2003Publication date: August 5, 2004Inventors: Richard D. Zaun, Richard W. Hook, John D. Long, John Overbeeke, Bruce L. Warman, Gregory M. Knott, John M. Robinson, Christopher G. Kay, Mark Guterman, Dmitry I. Spivak, Thomas E. Sparrow, John A. Patent number: 6591875Abstract: A cart for filling intermodal shipping containers with a bulk particulate material, such as grain, includes a hopper to receive the bulk material and a belt conveyor to deliver the material to the container. The conveyor is positioned external of the container and throws the material along an arcuate path to the opposite end of the container whereby the container is substantially filled without the need to extend the conveyor into the container. The cart is supported on wheels to be moved where needed. The cart can straddle a standard truck trailer carrying a container so that the container need not be removed from the trailer for filling. The conveyor height is variable to reach a container on a truck trailer or on the ground. The cart width can also be reduced for road transport.Type: GrantFiled: October 1, 2001Date of Patent: July 15, 2003Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Richard D. Zaun, Richard W. Hook, Bruce L. Patent number: 6374927Abstract: A dual purpose bracket assembly for a horizontal directional drill that retains pipes within a cartridge when the cartridge is detached from the drill and locks the cartridge to the drill when it is attached. The bracket assembly includes side plates that are installed within longitudinal support members. A pivot pin is installed through the side plates and the longitudinal support members and allows the bracket assembly to rotate between a pipe retention position and a locked position. A dual purpose removable pin supports the weight of the pipes in the pipe retention position when the cartridge is detached and locks the cartridge to the drill when the cartridge is attached.Type: GrantFiled: January 20, 2000Date of Patent: April 23, 2002Assignee: Case CorporationInventors: Mark Guterman, Jeffrey S. Patent number: 5632575Abstract: An apparatus and method for selectively injecting a liquid bentonite slurry around an exterior of a tunnel liner segment which is pressed into a tunnel being concurrently excavated during a pipe jacking installation. The bentonite slurry lubricates the exterior of the tunnel liner reducing the force required to press the tunnel liner into the tunnel. The apparatus allows an operator of the pipe jacking operation to selectively inject bentonite around individual tunnel liner segment or to allow the apparatus to selectively inject bentonite as required by a preset injection pressure threshold value.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 1994Date of Patent: May 27, 1997Inventors: Frank J. Lorenzen, Mark Guterman
