  • Patent number: 8892221
Abstract: A system for resource usage optimization employs an automatically controlled sensor suite providing data to a computer system for the analysis of spatial relationships of the sensors and resources. A control module incorporates an interactive logic, in an exemplary embodiment of well-stream coupled dynamic or game theory engines, operating in conjunction with the spatial data processing algorithms, GIS in an exemplary embodiment, receives as an input an objective function set for the use of the resource and constraint sets which are then monitored by the sensor suite. Incoming data is compared to the constraint sets and upon impact to any of the elements of the objective function set, creates a report/alarm for action or to trigger a corrective action.

  • Publication number: 20130138349
Abstract: A system for monitoring and display of representative parameters in a selected monitoring geography incorporates multiple sensor suites (10) deployed at selected measurement sites within a monitoring geography which provide output data. A computer (18) receives output from the sensor suites and incorporates a computational module (208) for processing of the sensor suite output data with respect to a selected model and integration and networking software (23) for selection of parameters in the computational module and display of selected visualizations of the processed data, Monitoring terminals (20) are deployed through a network (21) and connected to the computer under control of the integration and networking software. The terminals communicate with the computational module and receive and display results from the computational module.

  • Patent number: 7227139
Abstract: A system for detecting leaks of petroleum and other non-petroleum based products in an environment includes a sensor package comprising at least one LED and an optical photo-detector. The emitter transmits an excitation signal with an excitation wavelength, and the detector is tuned to the emission wavelengths of a fluorescing mixture, such as a petroleum based product, in a space where detection is sought. An alarm system coupled to the detector may be used for notifying users in case of a leak.
