Abstract: A beverage dispensing machine includes a dispensing valve having a first flow path configured to dispense a first fluid and a second flow path configured to dispense a second fluid such that the first fluid and the second fluid mix downstream and form a mixed beverage. A flow control device regulates flow rate of the first fluid through the first flow path, and a shutoff valve selectively closes to stop flow of the first fluid through the first flow path. A sensor is configured to sense the flow rate of the first fluid, and a controller automatically controls the flow control device to adjust the flow rate of the first fluid and thereby obtain a desired fluid ratio of the mixed beverage.

Abstract: This invention relates to a dispenser, for preferably Frozen Carbonate Beverage (FCB) product, having valves that can be manually or electrically operated in response to electronic controls. The valve has a jam dispensing position, and can be used with an additive, such as flavors, injector. A power failure back up is provided to close the valve, along with sanitation and optional purging cycles. Product dispense is provided only when sensed to have a desired consistency and/or in a condition to prevent splashing. Additive dispense is provided only when product is present. The dispenser can have a monitor and suitable controller to dispense strips or layers of different additives or flavors into the product.

Abstract: A beverage dispenser apparatus and method for dispensing a beverage, be it soda, beer or frozen “slushy” type is provided with a direct or indirect mounted game type controller for operating and dispensing the beverage. Additional features such as game displays, audio and or additional dispensing functions, such as adding flavoring, and vending may be controlled via the game type control. The vending operation may be initiated by money deposits or acceptance of some type card such as a debit, credit or other card.
