Abstract: This disclosure provides a gapless medium voltage inductor. The inductor includes a magnetic core having an aperture extending therethrough, a bobbin comprising a first plate and a second plate, a spacer disposed within the aperture of the magnetic core, a longitudinal channel defined through the spacer, first plate, and second plate, and a coil extending through the longitudinal channel and wrapping around the core and the bobbin. The core is disposed between the first and second plates.

Abstract: A device (10) is used to maintain climate conditions within an interior space (12) of a vehicle such as an ambulance (14). The device (10) includes a blower (18) to generate an air flow and a mounting plate (20) cooperating with a cover (29) to direct the air flow across an opening (16) into the interior space to form a wall of air to prevent loss of the climate conditioned air within the interior space. The vehicle could also be a food service truck, a people transport bus and a boat.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable medium for using competency-related information for individuals to provide a variety of benefits is described. In some situations, gaps are identified between current competencies of individuals and target competencies for those individuals, and the individuals are provided with assistance in reducing or eliminating those competency gaps. The target competencies for an individual can be identified in a variety of ways, such as in an automatic manner based on required or preferred competencies for a current organizational position held by an individual. After identifying one or more competency gaps for an individual, training courses or other learning activities can be identified that if completed or performed by the individual would reduce or eliminate those competency gaps.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable medium for using learning activity information, such as for individuals in an organization, to provide a variety of benefits is described. In some situations, reporting functionality is available to provide information about completed learning activities, such as in the form of reports for presentation. In addition, learning activities may in some situations be rated based on learning activity criteria, such as to determine the amount or the effectiveness of the learning activities, and information about the learning activity ratings can then be provided in various ways. Learning activities can also be related to performance criteria in some situations, such as to correlate learning activities to corresponding changes in organizational or individual performance measures, and information about the relationships can then be provided in various ways. A variety of performance criteria and learning activity criteria may be used.
