Abstract: A package for holding an item, and a method of making the same are provided. The package includes a plurality of page spread blanks, a front endsheet blank and a back endsheet blank. The blanks include a disc receiving opening and a pair of disc securing lugs. The disc securing lugs are adapted to contact an outer periphery of an item placed into the disc receiving opening and removed from the disc receiving opening. The front endsheet blank is connected to one of the plurality of page spread blanks and the back endsheet blank is connected along to another of the plurality of page spread blanks.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for housing a gift card within a package whereby the gift card is completely concealed within the package, a printed code related to the gift card is printed on an external surface of the package, and the gift card may be activated without opening the package. A packaging structure is also disclosed for use with the method.

Abstract: A front panel having a front to back open section therein is coupled to a rear panel by a hinge. The rear panel has an area on its inside surface. Text and/or a design that characterizes the media carrier appears on the area. The raised area and the open section are sized and positioned relative to each other, such that the text and/or design is visible from the front, when the panels are parallel to each other with the container closed, and when the panels are perpendicular to each other when the container is open. Abstract: The cylindrical package is formed by folding a blank. The resulting carton is approximately 75% cylindrical and 25% flat. An inner container carries a lid. The inner container has an wrap panel attached to a bottom panel wrapping around the inner container to form a cylindrical outer surface. The cylindrical outer surface is maintained by the profile of the lid. The wrap panel is approximately ⅜th of an inch deeper than the box insuring that the lid panels are always held within the cylinder. A self-adhesive strip on the end of the extension maintains the extension in place after the glue strip is removed by hand. The base of the resultant container is level and allows the container stand evenly.
