  • Patent number: 11529014
Abstract: A dispensing assembly for cold beverages includes a beverage supply conduit, an opening and closing tap for closing or opening the beverage supply conduit, a beverage dispensing conduit delimiting a fluid passage, a dispensing outlet arranged at the end of the dispensing conduit, an air supply conduit delimiting an air passage. The tap is directly connected to the dispensing outlet by providing a connecting coupling which connects the air supply conduit to the beverage dispensing conduit, the beverage dispensing conduit comprising a Venturi segment between the tap and the outlet in which, by flowing through the Venturi segment, the fluid passage reduces the cross section thereof and then increases the cross section thereof as in a Venturi conduit. An air passage regulating valve is provided in said air supply conduit for regulating the width of the air passage.

  • Patent number: 8430618
Abstract: A fastener has a shaft, a head at a first end of the shaft, and a point at the other end of the shaft. A first portion of the shaft adjacent the point is threaded. The first portion typically extends about one-half the total length of the shaft. A second portion of the shaft (adjacent the head) is not threaded, but has a plurality of spaced rings. A knurled portion can be provided between the first and second portions, if desired. Conventional symmetrical or asymmetrical thread can be used in the threaded portion, or a three lobe thread can be used.

  • Publication number: 20070071576
Abstract: A screw for use in a composite lumber member or a wood member has at least one disruptive surface that cuts composite material away from the composite lumber member as the screw is driven into the member to prevent a mound and/or strings from being formed that are attached to the composite lumber member when the screw is set therein. The screw may be used with conventional wood members wherein the screw of the present invention provides increased clamping when driven into a wood member to fasten the wood member to a support member or the like.
