Abstract: A tree stand for suspending a tree is disclosed. In one illustrative embodiment, the tree stand may include a base for providing stability for the tree stand and a center pole for suspending the tree above the base. The center pole may have a first end, a second end, and a length extending therebetween. The first end of the center pole may be coupled to the base and the second end, which may be coupled to the tree, may be spaced a distance from the base defining an angle between the center pole and the base. In some cases, the center pole may be extendable.
