Abstract: This disclosure relates to an improved jump rope. In one embodiment, an improved jump rope comprises a pair of tubular handles and a cord. Each of the tubular handles can comprise a void on a top portion, and the void can house a fastening mechanism. The jump rope can further comprise a pair of bearing swivels. Each of the bearing swivels can comprise a tapered hole on each end, the tapered holes mateable with a first fastener and second fastener. The first fastener can connect the handles and the bearing swivels. Each end of the cord can connect with the second fastener.
