Patent number: 11998914Abstract: Biological activity in holding pens in a micro-fluidic device can be assayed by placing in the holding pens capture objects that bind a particular material of interest produced by the biological activity. The biological material of interest that binds to each capture object can then be assessed, either in the micro-fluidic device or after exporting the capture object from the micro-fluidic device. The assessment can be utilized to characterize the biological activity in each holding pen. The biological activity can be production of the biological material of interest. Thus, the biological activity can correspond to or arise from one or more biological cells. Biological cells within a holding pen can be clonal cell colonies. The biological activity of each clonal cell colony can be assayed while maintaining the clonal status of each colony.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2022Date of Patent: June 4, 2024Assignee: BRUKER CELLULAR ANALYSIS, INC.Inventors: Kevin T. Chapman, Daniele Malleo, J. Tanner Nevill, Steven W. Short, Mark P. White, M. Jimena Loureiro

Patent number: 11971409Abstract: A method of preparing an antibody therapeutic is provided comprising: (a) providing a dissociated cell sample from at least one solid tumor sample obtained from a patient; (b) loading the dissociated cell sample into a microfluidic device having a flow region and at least one isolation region fluidically connected to the flow region; (c) moving at least one B cell from the dissociated cell sample into at least one isolation region in the microfluidic device, thereby obtaining at least one isolated B cell; and (d) using the microfluidic device to identify at least one B cell that produces antibodies capable of binding to cancer cells. The cancer cells can be the patient's own cancer cells. Also provided are methods of treating patients, methods of labeling or detecting cancer, engineered T or NK cells comprising antibodies or fragments thereof, and engineered antibody constructs.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2020Date of Patent: April 30, 2024Assignee: Bruker Cellular Analysis, Inc.Inventors: Kevin T. Patent number: 9871817Abstract: A system for evaluating the susceptibility of an organization to social engineering, the organization having a plurality of sources and a plurality of members using electronic devices, is provided. The system includes an appliance in communication with the plurality of sources configured to retrieve contact information of members and to detect triggering events from the plurality of sources. The system includes a platform remote from the appliance configured to receive signals from the appliance indicative of the triggering events and to prepare and send communications, including templates based on each of the triggering events to the appliance. Upon receipt of the communications, the appliance is configured to retrieve the contact information of intended recipient members, to create messages based on the templates, and to send the messages to the intended recipient members. The platform does not receive the contact information of the plurality of members from the appliance.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2017Date of Patent: January 16, 2018Assignee: Phishline, LLCInventor: Mark T. Publication number: 20160308897Abstract: A system for testing the susceptibility of an organization to social engineering is provided. The system includes an interface configured to receive input from the organization selecting characterization attributes for message templates for a social engineering campaign. The system includes a processor configured to receive the input through the interface. The system generates a message template inventory containing a plurality of message templates from combinations of phishing template patterns, characterization attributes, and themes such that the generated templates include tag content that is consistent. The processor is configured to select message templates from the plurality of message templates consistent with the characterization attributes selected by the organization and to display the number of the selected message templates through the interface to the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2016Publication date: October 20, 2016Applicant: PhishLine, LLCInventor: Mark T.
