  • Patent number: 11923068
Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided for surgical and interventional planning, support, post-operative follow-up, and functional recovery tracking. In general, a patient can be tracked throughout medical treatment including through initial onset of symptoms, diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment, and recovery from the surgical treatment. In one embodiment, a patient and one or more medical professionals involved with treating the patient can electronically access a comprehensive treatment planning, support, and review system. The system can provide recommendations regarding diagnosis, non-surgical treatment, surgical treatment, and recovery from the surgical treatment based on data gathered from the patient and the medical professional(s).

  • Patent number: 11883159
Abstract: Technologies for a monitoring system for monitoring a user's movement include a sensor module and a monitoring device. The sensor module is attached to the user or wearable by the user. The monitoring device detects the sensor module positioned in proximity to the monitoring device, receives sensor data from the detected sensor module, analyzes the received sensor data to determine a position and an orientation of the detected sensor module relative to the monitoring device, compares the determined positions of the detected sensor module to predefined planned positions, and initiates an alert notification in response to a determination that a difference between the determined positions of the detected sensor module and the predefined positions is greater than a reference threshold.

  • Patent number: 10980574
Abstract: The present invention generally provides a polyaxial fixation device having a shank with a spherical head formed on a proximal end thereof, and a receiver member having an axial passage formed therein that is adapted to polyaxially seat the spherical head of the shank. The polyaxial bone screw further includes an engagement member that is adapted to provide sufficient friction between the spherical head and the receiver member to enable the shank to be maintained in a desired angular orientation before locking the spherical head within the receiver member.

  • Publication number: 20210093886
Abstract: A device for treating the brain includes a light source configured to emit near infrared light. The device also includes a collimator configured to receive the near infrared light emitted by the light emitter. The collimator is further configured to collimate the near infrared light. The device also includes an optic configured to focus collimated light. A reflector of the device is configured to change a direction of the collimated light. The reflector is at a distal end of the device, and the distal end is configured to fit between an upper portion of an eyelid of a patient and an orbital socket of the patient.
