  • Publication number: 20090083940
Abstract: A device is proposed for moving a first furniture part relative to a second furniture part, using a drive unit, by means of which the first furniture part, can be moved in a driven manner relative to the second furniture part via a monitoring unit for monitoring the movement of the first furniture part. According to the invention, the monitoring unit is designed to render the automatic closing inoperative for positioning the first furniture part, in an open position, from which the first furniture part, returns automatically to a closed position after a predetermined closing time interval.

  • Publication number: 20080251011
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for coating, in particular, for painting objects, in particular, vehicle bodies, comprising a multi-axis robot supporting an application device. Said robot is secured to a carriage which can be guided in an essentially linear manner along the guide structure. The guide structure comprises a carrier element which extends over the displacement path of the robot and which receives the force. A guide rail is arranged on the top side of the carrier element, said guide rail co-operating with a complementary linear guide of the carriage. A support rail which is arranged on a lateral surface of the carrier element tilts, whereon at least one guide roller of the carriage unrolls. Said support element is embodied as a hollow profile which is strengthened on at least one side by means of a plurality of reinforcing ribs in order to reduce the costs and the weight of the carrier element.

  • Publication number: 20080184932
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for coating, in particular, for painting objects, in particular vehicle bodies (2), comprising at least one multi-axis robot (7) which supports an application device (6). The robot (7) is arranged on a carriage (8) which can be displaced along a guide structure (9). At least one of the media guide chains (12a, 12b) supports a plurality of electric lines and/or lines which guide media and extends from a fixed connection point (40a, 40b) into a loop, which comprises two compartments, to a connection point (41a, 41b) which is transported from the carriage (8). In order to keep the device as laterally compact as possible, at least two media guide chains (2a, 12b) are provided, whereby the loops thereof are arranged on top of each other.

  • Publication number: 20070188060
Abstract: The invention proposes a device for influencing the movement of furniture parts (1, 2) which can be moved relative to one another, having a movement-influencing unit which comprises an installation housing, in which movement-influencing coupling means are accommodated such that they can be displaced at least in a translatory manner, and having a coupling element, to which the coupling means are connected in the operating state. In order to provide a device which is of space-saving construction and is comparatively straight-forward to install, the movement-influencing unit is designed such that, by virute of a relative movement between the coupling means and the coupling element in a displacement direction of the coupling means, the coupling means can be coupled to the coupling element to produce a connection which has a predeterminable coupling force. Also proposed are a drawer guide and a production method.

  • Patent number: 7075053
Abstract: A device for determining the position of a scraper which is displaceable for the transport of coating material in a supply path of thereof, the coating material comprises a sensor responding to the presence of the scraper. This sensor is accommodated in a separate measuring head, which contains an inner, self-sufficient current source and a circuit arrangement which generates an electric output signal indicating presence or absence of the scraper on the sensor. The information in this output signal is conducted by means of a device, which manages without galvanic connection, preferably via an optical waveguide, to an evaluation circuit, electrically insulated at a distance from the measuring head and which generates an electric output signal used for controlling other parts of the plant. A device of this kind can also be used for detecting scrapers where, as frequently in electrostatically operating coating plants, the sensor has to be attached at a point located at high electric potential.

  • Publication number: 20040104649
Abstract: The invention concerns a drawer system with an automatic self-closing mechanism, with which the kinetic energy is stored when the drawer is opened along the entire opening length in the form of potential energy in energy storage, which potential energy is, after the drawer is released, delivered by a speed regulator in a controlled slow and uniform manner again along the entire closing length to the drawer in the form of kinetic energy. The invention-related closing system has the advantage that the disengagement and release of the drawer, a certain closing movement is guaranteed, without the drawer reaching too high a speed while closing. Thus, the drawer closes softly and very quietly, without fearing damage to the drawer or its contents.

  • Patent number: 6715180
Abstract: The invention concerns a cabinet hinge with a depth adjusting device for hinge arm held directly or indirectly on a cabinet-side, single- or multi-part mounting plate. A revolvable depth adjusting screw held in the mounting plate is provided in order to adjust the depth. A driver plate is connected with the hinge arm; whereby, the depth adjusting screw has adjusting elements that work together with corresponding adjusting surfaces on the driver plate in such a way that by turning the depth adjusting screw, the driver plate and the hinge arm are moved in relation to the mounting plate. The invention offers the advantage that with only turn, the depth adjusting screw can finely and delicately adjust the depth position of the hinge arm over its entire adjustment range.

  • Publication number: 20030061682
Abstract: The invention concerns a cabinet hinge with a side adjusting device that connects directly or indirectly on a cabinet-side, has a single- or multi-part baseplate (1) holding a hinge arm that is connected jointed or linked or hinged with a door-side stop component so that by means of the side adjusting device, the hinge arm's position can be changed perpendicular to the baseplate, and, at the same time, results in a correction of the depth adjustment of the hinge arm. This correction of the depth adjustment, which can also be described as a gap or reveal equalization, is accomplished by a corresponding side adjusting screw; that is, correspondingly by operating or turning the side adjusting screw. The adjusting element achieves restrained and controlled guidance of the hinge arm during the adjustment.

  • Patent number: 6532626
Abstract: The invention concerns an adjustable hinge that connects two furniture/cabinet components (door and cabinet body) together by means of a cabinet hinge and baseplate. On the cabinet hinge is a spring snap mechanism and connected on it, a hinge arm. This is connected by an adjustment plate with the baseplate and between the hinge arm and adjustment plate, an adjustment screw is located to adjust the both (bilateral) distances. The adjustment screw is screwed through an enclosed elongated hole in the adjustment plate in a thread borehole in the hinge arm. According to the invention, the adjustment screw is designed as a set screw (thread pin), which has on its one end a device for a releasable coupling with a tool and on the other end has a plate with a larger diameter. The bottom surface side of the plate, thus, rests on the baseplate and on the plate's upper surface, the edge of the adjustment plate's elongated hole.
