  • Patent number: 10687656
Abstract: A coffee machine for automatic preparation of coffee or espresso includes a housing (1) with components arranged therein for the preparation and dispensing of coffee and components (10, 11, 12) for the supply of hot water and the supply of steam. The housing (1) is subdivided by a partition (6) into two compartments (8, 9), namely a front compartment (8) that accommodates the components for the preparation and dispensing of coffee, and a rear compartment (9) that contains the carrier element (7). The components (10, 11, 12) for the supply of hot water and the supply of steam are arranged in the carrier element (7). The partition (6) provides thermal separation and shielding between the two compartments (8, 9) and a dry-moist separation. This modular structure substantially eases and simplifies the assembly and service tasks on the coffee machine.

  • Patent number: 5551988
Abstract: The cleaning of the brewing device of a coffee machine takes place in various phases. In a first phase, water is conducted out of a water tank via a water supply connection of the brewing cylinder through the outlet pipe disposed in the brewing piston into an external water tank. The cleaning water follows the route of the brewed coffee in this phase. In a second phase (see FIG. 3) the cleaning water is conducted from the brewing cylinder via channels in the wall of the brewing cylinder into areas outside the brewing cylinder and cleans, among other things, the second extension piece for the transport of the coffee grounds to the grounds container. In a third phase the water located in the brewing chamber is caused to flow out over the edge of the brewing cylinder by means of the shifting of the ejection piston.

  • Patent number: 5199412
Abstract: A production facility for the mechanized fabrication of masonry includes a turnover table (6) which receives a plurality of building stones (12) intended for a building-stone course of a wall that is to be produced. The turnover table (6) secures the building stones (12) in place, pivots them together about a horizontal axis (4) running at a distance parallel to the wall (1) to be produced, and transposes them with the top side down. The turnover table (6) can be loaded quickly by a belt (9) and another turnover table (7) for transposing the building-stone course in one piece from the conveyor belt (9) to the other turnover table (6). As a result of the increased output thus effected, the production facility can be integrated into a factory having a plurality of finishing stations for further production stages.

  • Patent number: 4808952
Abstract: There are arranged at a magnetic trigger for a selectively operative switch, a plunger-type armature, a pivotable armature and a tripping device. A plunger of the plunger-type armature acts directly upon a movable contact of a pair of contacts and the plunger-type armature is actuated using a magnetic coil or winding when the current flowing through the magnetic coil at least corresponds to a predetermined threshold current for opening the contacts. A pivotable armature is actuated by the plunger-type armature and redirects the magnetic return flux. The tripping device acts upon a switch lock mechanism and is switched into or out of the magnetic return flux by the plunger-type armature. The degree of overlap between pole shoes of the pivotable armature and of the tripping device is preselectable by an adjusting screw. There is thus realized a current-dependent, selective tripping of the switch lock mechanism.
