  • Publication number: 20210015170
Abstract: An aerosol-generating article may include: an aerosol-forming substrate; and/or at least one element including at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA). The at least one element may be downstream with respect to the aerosol-forming substrate. An aerosol-generating article may include: an aerosol-forming substrate; a support element immediately downstream of the aerosol-forming substrate; an aerosol-cooling element downstream of the support element; and/or an outer wrapper circumscribing the aerosol-forming substrate, the support element, and the aerosol-cooling element. The aerosol-cooling element may include at least one PHA. A method for quenching reactive oxygen species (ROS) in an aerosol produced by an aerosol-generating article comprising an aerosol-forming substrate may include: providing the aerosol-generating article with at least one element including at least one PHA. The at least one element is downstream with respect to the aerosol-forming substrate.

  • Patent number: 9005833
Abstract: The invention relates to a system having high-temperature fuel cells, for example SOFCs. A reformer connected upstream of the high-temperature fuel cells at the anode side, a start burner for the preheating of the cathodes of the high-temperature fuel cells, an afterburner and an operating heat exchanger are present at the system in accordance with the invention. Oxidizing agent can be supplied to the high-temperature fuel cell cathodes through the operating heat exchanger. In addition, it can be heated with the exhaust gas of the high-temperature fuel cells. Exhaust gas conducted through the operating heat exchanger can flow in an exhaust gas line together with environmental air and can then be conducted away into the environment as cooled exhaust gas.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 14, 2015
Assignee: Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Foerderung der Angewandten Forschung E.V.

  • Patent number: 6542890
Abstract: A method of filtering data includes creating a cell control block array so as to form a histogram, the histogram having a plurality of cell control blocks, and each of the plurality of cell control blocks corresponding to a corresponding cell classifiable as core or non-core and used or unused. Each of the plurality of cell control blocks has a cell counter, a first link word pointing to a start of a data output chain if the corresponding cell is used and core, and a second link word pointing to a related core cell if the corresponding cell is used and non-core. The histogram is formed as a function of at least one parameter including a first parameter and has a first lower limit and a first upper limit for the first parameter. Input data is received as a function of the at least one parameter so as to form a plurality of event descriptor blocks, the at least one parameter including the first parameter.
