  • Patent number: 10213813
Abstract: A method and cleaning device for removing deposits from interiors of receptacles and installations by way of explosion technology. The cleaning device includes a cleaning apparatus with a receiving space, and at least one pressure container that is connected via at least one metering fitting to the cleaning apparatus. The controlled introduction of the at least one gaseous component into the cleaning apparatus is effected according to the principle of the differential pressure between a maximal pressure at the beginning of the introduction and a nominal residual pressure after completion of the introduction. For this, based on a maximal pressure, the nominal residual pressure in the pressure container is ascertained on the basis of the quantity of gaseous component to be introduced, and the introduction of the at least one gaseous component is stopped on reaching the nominal residual pressure, which thereby lies in the overpressure range.

Abstract: A cleaning device for removing deposits in receptacles by way of blasting technology includes a cleaning lance with a grip-side and with a cleaning-side end section, on which a flexible container envelope forming a receiving space can be attached. The cleaning lance includes a feed tube with a container connection device that is arranged on the cleaning-side end section and is for feeding the explosive mixture or its starting components, to the container envelope, as well as a protective tube with a receiving space for a container envelope for the propose of shielding the container envelope to the outside. The protective tube is displaceably arranged along the longitudinal axis of the cleaning lance relative to the feed tube from a first position, in which the container envelope is shielded by the protective tube, into a second position in which the container envelope projects out through the protective tube.

  • Patent number: 6059403
Abstract: The liquid cartridge 1 of the invention has a housing 25 containing a liquid. A wall 27 of the cartridge has an opening 31 for placement on a stub 11 of a print head 2. The opening 31 also has a sealing ridge 32 protruding in the direction of an axis of the opening 31 which exerts a sealing effect against a frontal surface 21 of a packing ring 17 of the print head 2. A locking shoulder 33 approximately parallel to the wall 27 in which the opening is formed is engaged with a counter shoulder 34 of the print head 2. The liquid cartridge formed according to the present invention is manufactured economically and is easily positioned in a proper position in the print head.

  • Patent number: 5843270
Abstract: The two part cassette for a label printer consists of an adapter 1 and a reload unit 2. The adapter 1 contains a colored tape spool 16, from which the colored tape 19 is pulled off via a re-route device 13. The used tape 19 is wound up on a wind-up core 18. The reload unit 2 contains a spool 42 with a transparent tape 44, which is pulled off and passes across a print head 22 along with the colored tape 19. From another spool 43 in the reload unit 2, a dual-faced adhesive tape 45 is pulled off and adhered by a transport roller 50 onto the printed transparent tape 44. The transparent tape 44 and the adhesive tape 45 exit jointly from an exit slot 48 in the reload unit. This construction facilitates reloading of the adapter 1 with the economically manufacturable and recyclable reload units 2. This construction also affords the option of combining a selection of print colors, adhesive tape colors, and label widths.

  • Patent number: 5671688
Abstract: In the process for treating slag from refuse incineration plants, the crude slag, after passing through the firing grate, is separated into at least two fractions directly and without previous quenching in a water bath. These two fractions are further processed separately, the coarse fraction being fed to a wet deslagger. For optimum separation of the two fractions, the first fraction, having a particle size preferably up to 32 mm, is separated off in a first screening stage and the screen oversize of the first screening stage is fed to the wet deslagging. The screen undersize and if appropriate the material passing through the firing grate are fed to a second screening stage to separate off the fine fraction 0 . . . 2 mm. The screen oversize of the second screening stage, if appropriate after removing metallic and inert materials, is mechanically comminuted. In an optional third screening stage (8), the fine fraction 0 . . .

  • Patent number: 5597248
Abstract: An ink ribbon cassette is provided for feeding and driving an ink ribbon in a printer or the like. The cassette includes a housing, a take-up core rotatably supported in the housing with the front end of the ink ribbon being coupled thereto and a take-off core rotatably supported in the housing. An ink spool is wound up on the take-off core, where the ink spool includes an outer periphery. A brake assembly is provided and includes a conical plate where the outer periphery of the ink spool rests on the conical plate, thereby decreasing the braking torque as the spool diameter decreases.

  • Patent number: 5127750
Abstract: A refillable ink ribbon cartridge including an adapter element which can be permanently inserted in a typewriter and receive a replaceable ink ribbon. The adapter includes a ribbon drive mechanism for advancing the ink ribbon cassette. The adapter includes a body portion and two extending legs and centering pins at the free ends and a ribbon tensioning lever. The cassette is formed with a body portion and two protruding legs with guiding elements to guide the ribbon across the free end of the legs. A drive wheel is rotatably mounted on a spring loaded arm to pull the ribbon through the cartridge, the arm is rotatable about a drive pin. Upon insertion of the refill cassette into the adapter, the two systems align and interact so that the ribbon is guided by the associated protruding legs and guiding elements to run smoothly through the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 5044795
Abstract: The spring (6) has two radially aligned legs (7, 8) and a circular-segment-shaped web (9) connecting the legs. The web (9) is inserted with initial stress in a circumferential groove (10) of an unwinding core (3). The free end of the leg rests against a stop (11). The free end of the leg (8) is bent at a right angle. The right-angle bend forms a deflecting organ (12), around which the ribbon (5) is fed. The surface of the spring (6) is roughened and abrasive at least in the area of the web (9). The spring (6) is preferably phosphatized for this purpose. By means of this design, a uniform ribbon tension over the entire running time of the ribbon is achieved.

  • Patent number: 4735518
Abstract: An ink ribbon cassette having a multicarbon ribbon for switching from a rapid to a slow multicarbon mode is provided. The cassette includes a coupling element to be driven by a printing device. The coupling element rotates a manually shiftable gear mechanism which includes two sets of gears, which are axially displaceable with respect to each other. Each set of gears includes gears of different sizes with a driving wheel mounted on one set of gears. The driving wheel engages the ink ribbon take-up reel. The ability to change the speed of the ribbon advance makes it possible to use the same multicarbon ink ribbon cassette either for high print quality or for longer print duration.
