  • Publication number: 20230248999
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a radiotherapy device comprising a source of therapeutic radiation and an imaging system, the imaging system comprising a source of imaging radiation and a detector. The imaging system is switchable between a first configuration and a second configuration wherein, in the first configuration, the imaging system is configured to emit a beam of imaging radiation shaped for a first imaging modality toward the detector and, in the second configuration, the imaging system is configured to emit a beam of imaging radiation shaped for a second imaging modality toward the detector. The detector is of a shape formed by at least a first and a second section, the first and second section intersecting one another, wherein the first section is positioned for receiving the beam of imaging radiation for the first imaging modality, and the second section is positioned for receiving the beam of imaging radiation for the second imaging modality.

  • Publication number: 20210409307
Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for routing packets between a terminal device and a control system node via intermediate nodes on wireless paths in a wireless network. A method includes obtaining information on disturbances of wireless paths used for communicating packets of a traffic flow between the intermediate nodes in the wireless network. The method includes determining, based on the information on disturbances, mutual correlation between the disturbances of the wireless paths. The method includes routing the packets of the traffic flow between the terminal device and the control system node via some of the intermediate nodes and along disjoint wireless paths, whereby the packets are transmitted in parallel on the disjoint wireless paths, and wherein the disjoint wireless paths have mutual correlation not higher than a threshold correlation value.

  • Patent number: 11020615
Abstract: Systems and methods for calculating radiotherapy dose distribution are provided. The systems and methods include operations for receiving data representing at least one of particle trajectories or a dose deposition pattern in a simulated delivery of a radiotherapy plan; applying a dose calculation process to the received data to generate a first radiotherapy dose distribution having a first level of detail; and processing the first radiotherapy dose distribution using a trained machine learning technique to generate a second radiotherapy dose distribution having a second level of detail that enhances the first level of detail.

  • Patent number: 10497113
Abstract: Embodiments disclose a method performed by at least one processor for processing a plurality of x-ray projection images of a subject, the method comprising a plurality of operations including reconstructing the projection images to yield a volume reconstruction; segmenting the reconstructed volume by assigning a material type to each voxel; estimating a first set of scatter images corresponding to a subset of the projection images by calculating probabilistic predictions of interactions of x-rays with the subject and applying a low pass spatial filter to the scatter images; estimating a second set of scatter images corresponding to projection images not included in the subset, based on the first set of scatter images; and subtracting, for each projection image, the corresponding scatter image to yield a corrected projection image.
