  • Patent number: 11996207
Abstract: A nuclear fuel assembly for a boiling water reactor extends along a fuel assembly axis and includes a base including a lower tie plate, a head including an upper tie plate and a lift handle, a bundle of fuel rods extending axially between the lower tie plate and the upper tie plate, and a water channel extending within the bundle of fuel rods with axially connecting the base to the head such that the load of the base is transferred to the head via the water channel. The fuel assembly further comprises a tie rod extending between the base and the head. The tie rod is axially fixed to the base and connected to the head via a connection assembly comprising a stopping member configured to abut an abutting surface of the head for limiting a downward movement of the base relative to the head during lifting of the fuel assembly, in case of a breakage of the water channel.

Abstract: A virtual test environment for a driver assistance system, in which virtual road users are simulated on a game theoretic basis. The virtual test environment is designed to recognize as a game situation at least one predetermined traffic situation in the virtual test environment in which a first road user and a second road user are involved, to designate the first and second road users as a first and second player. A payoff matrix assigned to the game situation is stored in the virtual test environment. The virtual test environment is designed to assign a strategy from a selection of strategies to each of the two players in the game situation, depending on the balance of their respective point account, and to control each of the two players in the game situation in such a manner that they behave in accordance with their respective assigned strategy.

  • Patent number: 10425091
Abstract: A full quadrant analog interpolator used in a fractional clock generator. A quadrature clock signal with minimal jitter is provided to the full quadrant analog interpolator. The full quadrant analog interpolator uses a series of switches and current sources to develop a differential output signal based on a digital input value, thus allowing digital control of the delay developed by the full quadrant analog interpolator. The differential output of the full quadrant analog interpolator is provided to multi-stage comparator. The output of the multi-stage comparator is provided to an integer divider to provide the final output clock. A digital control section utilizes a ?? modulator and a summer to utilize an input N.? control input which provides the desired fractional division amount to provide a signal to a phase accumulator. The output of the phase accumulator is the digital control or ? value of the full quadrant analog interpolator.
