  • Publication number: 20230209283
Abstract: Methods, hearing systems and neural networks for audio signal processing are described. A hearing system comprises a neural network. An input audio signal is processed into an output audio signal at least partially by means of a processing unit of the hearing system. The audio signal processing of the input audio signal includes executing audio signal processing by the neural network for performing a step of the audio signal processing, determining a confidence parameter resembling the reliability of the audio signal processing by the neural network and steering the audio signal processing in dependence of the confidence parameter. A particularly suitable neural network is configured to solve a regression-based acoustic processing task and additionally determining the confidence parameter.

  • Publication number: 20220348211
Abstract: A method and an assistance device assist automated driving operation of a motor vehicle. Surroundings raw data recorded by way of a surroundings sensor system of the motor vehicle are processed by the assistance device in order to generate semantic surroundings data. This is accomplished by carrying out semantic object recognition. Further, a comparison of predefined semantically annotated map data against the semantic surroundings data is performed. This involves static objects indicated in the map data being identified in the semantic surroundings data as far as possible. Discrepancies detected during the process are used to recognize perception errors of the assistance device. A recognized perception error prompts a predefined safety measure to be carried out.

  • Publication number: 20080065304
Abstract: A motor vehicle, in particular a passenger motor vehicle, has a drive train which has a drive assembly, at least one gear mechanism and a plurality of drive axles. The drive train has at least one transverse lock for locking a rotational speed equalization between wheels of one drive axle and at least one longitudinal lock for locking a rotational speed equalization between two drive axles. A torque distribution of the drive train, namely a torque distribution between the drive axles of the drive train and/or a torque distribution between the wheels of the drive axles, can be determined and visualized for a driver.

  • Patent number: 6996466
Abstract: A method of controlling the handling of vehicles having a controllable longitudinal clutch and/or a controllable main-axle lateral lock in the case of all-wheel systems and a controllable lateral lock in the case of vehicles with a single-axle drive. The input quantities are first detected and processed, and subsequently, a comparison takes place of the desired driving direction, which is defined by way of the steering angle (LW), and the actual moving direction (BR) of the vehicle. If the two values deviate from one another by a definable reference value (RW), the coupling between the front axle and the rear axle of the vehicle is increased for increasing the yaw damping, or, when a controllable main-axle lateral lock is present, the locking torque of the lateral lock is increased, or the two measures are initiated simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 6917869
Abstract: Method of controlling the vehicle handling of vehicles having a controllable longitudinal clutch and/or a controllable main-axle lateral lock in the case of all-wheel systems and a controllable lateral lock in the case of vehicles with a single-axle operation wherein at least the driving speed (v), the lateral acceleration (aq) and the actual steering angle (LW(act)) are detected. From the filed characteristic diagram, which extends along the driving speed (v) and the lateral acceleration (aq), the pertaining steering angle (LW(KF)) is determined for the respective driving speed (v) and the lateral acceleration (aq) and is then compared with the actual steering angle (LW(act)). If the two steering angles deviate from one another by at least a definable amount, the lateral acceleration is adapted by changing the locking torque for a stable vehicle handling.
