  • Patent number: 11996207
Abstract: A nuclear fuel assembly for a boiling water reactor extends along a fuel assembly axis and includes a base including a lower tie plate, a head including an upper tie plate and a lift handle, a bundle of fuel rods extending axially between the lower tie plate and the upper tie plate, and a water channel extending within the bundle of fuel rods with axially connecting the base to the head such that the load of the base is transferred to the head via the water channel. The fuel assembly further comprises a tie rod extending between the base and the head. The tie rod is axially fixed to the base and connected to the head via a connection assembly comprising a stopping member configured to abut an abutting surface of the head for limiting a downward movement of the base relative to the head during lifting of the fuel assembly, in case of a breakage of the water channel.

  • Patent number: 11982757
Abstract: It is provided a method, comprising measuring, during a period, a first time of arrival (TOA) of a first signal from a first satellite, a second TOA of a second signal from a second satellite, and a third TOA of a third signal from a third satellite; reporting, after the period has elapsed, the first TOA along with the first cell identifier and a first parameter enabling to derive a transmit time of the first signal, the second TOA along with the second cell identifier and a second parameter enabling to derive a transmit time of the second signal, and the third TOA along with the third cell identifier and a third parameter enabling to derive a transmit time of the third signal, wherein the first TOA is measured within a set first interval in the period; the second TOA is measured within a set second interval in the period; the second interval does not overlap the first interval.

  • Patent number: 9683598
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of materials science and to a device for reducing pressure in cavities in media at higher temperatures, such as those devices which can be used for devices for hot-dip coating metal materials in the metal processing industry for example. The aim of the invention is to provide a device by means of which pressure can be reduced in the cavity of the hollow bodies in a reliable and controlled manner and simultaneously the penetration of the media can be delayed or completely prevented at the higher temperatures. This is achieved by a device for reducing pressure in hollow bodies in media at higher temperatures, wherein at least one opening to the cavity of the hollow body is provided in hollow body regions which are not used for the intended application, said opening being closed from the medium surrounding the hollow body by at least one component made of a gas-permeable metal or ceramic material.

  • Patent number: 9483033
Abstract: According to various examples, alternator controllers, systems for communicating with an alternator controller and methods for communicating with an alternator regulator are described herein. As an example, the alternator controller includes an input terminal configured to be coupled to a coil of a stator of an alternator and an interface circuit coupled to the input terminal and configured to convert a multi-valued signal at the input terminal into parallel signals. According to another example, a system for communicating with an alternator controller is described herein. This example includes a device and an alternator controller. The device includes an encoder. The alternator controller includes a decoder and at least one phase terminal. The encoder and the decoder are coupled via the at least one phase terminal of the alternator controller.
