  • Publication number: 20070063395
Abstract: The present invention concerns a two stage, injection molding apparatus and method for the manufacture of molded parts having operational steps of filling of a plasticized, workable material into a first mold introducing a volume of compressed gas and/or a liquid under pressure into the said workable material in order to expand this workable material and increase its volume to create a first molded part, and forcing surplus material out of the first mold into a second mold in order to form in a second molded part in the second cavity.

  • Publication number: 20060175630
Abstract: An aim of an embodiment is to reduce the volume of power modules, especially for electronic motor control devices. An area is formed between cooling elements with the aid of an annular shaped rubber seal. A semi-conductor device is sealed with a sealing compound therein. Both sides of the semi-conductor device can be cooled with cooling bodies enabling the amount of space required for the power module to be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060061895
Abstract: A mirror support plate for use with vehicles, which can be attached to a holder by way of a chucking and sliding connection. The support plate is provided with two ridges which protrude from its back and include at least one projection which extends towards the other ridge in such manner that the border region of the holder can be inserted between the back of the holder and the projections. The mirror support plate includes a first elastic element and second elastic element, which function as upper and lower elements. The elastic elements are designed so that as the holder is inserted, it elastically deforms the lower one of the first and second elastic elements towards the back of the mirror support plate allowing outer edges of the holder to move into frictional contact with the projections and the back of the support plate and its upper end into interlocking contact with the upper of the first and second elastic elements.

  • Patent number: 6747232
Abstract: In a vacuum contactor, the armature is initially deflected from an armature rest position through an initial movement distance, and then through a driving movement distance to an armature operating position when a pull-in current is applied to a drive coil. An operating element is deflected from an element rest position to an element operating position by the armature only while the latter is passing through the driving movement distance. This makes it possible to achieve a good tripping characteristic of the vacuum contractor.

  • Patent number: 6597267
Abstract: An electromagnetic switching device includes a housing and a plug-in module which can be inserted into the housing at an insertion point in a direction of insertion. The plug-in module holds a magnetic yoke, attached to which is a coil unit. Two extensions, which point respectively to the front and to the rear in relation to the direction of insertion, are formed on the magnetic yoke. In order to retain the magnetic yoke, a retaining bracket extending transversally in relation to the direction of insertion, overlaps one of the fixing extensions and engages two retaining tongues from below, said tongues being formed as one-piece with the plug-in module.

  • Publication number: 20010008228
Abstract: The invention relates to a molded part (10) which is configured by initially forming a tubular body (2) with a soldered flange (7). Subsequently, the body (2) is shaped in a mold (8) by securing the flange (7) under high internal pressure to shape the form part or the preform (10). Thus, preforms with a secured flange that can be used to connect said preforms to other parts can be easily obtained.

  • Patent number: 6150909
Abstract: An electromagnetic switchgear unit has an electromagnetic drive appliance which acts as an auxiliary magnet system and by means of which the contact force is first increased on the occurrence of a short-circuit current, before the contacts are abruptly torn apart. For this purpose, the drive appliance actuates a lever rotatably supported on the contact bridge carrier, which lever displaces the contact bridge carrier and, by this means, compresses a contact compression spring and a further compression spring.

  • Patent number: 6070786
Abstract: To form a body, a preform is produced by welding together two essentially flat sheet-metal blanks at their margins. This preform is then deformed in a mold by internal high-pressure forming to produce the desired body. In this way, complex metal bodies can easily be formed.

  • Patent number: 5986528
Abstract: An electrical switching device prevents moving contacts from welding to stationary contacts in a switching device. This is achieved using an auxiliary magnet system in the main current path, which system produces a contact pressure force corresponding to the excitation current so that no arcs are produce between the contacts when overcurrents and short-circuit currents occur. The moving iron core of the auxiliary magnet system is for this purpose connected to the contact link mounting via which the contacts are switched on and off.

  • Patent number: 5977511
Abstract: The sheets (1,2) which are to be butt welded are positioned with their edges in contact with one another. To reduce the gap (3) to a width acceptable for laser welding, at least one sheet (2) is plastically deformed along the line of the joint so that material flows towards the gap, reducing the width of the gap. In this way, sheets cut to size with much less precision can be welded together.

  • Patent number: 5834933
Abstract: Simple methods for magnetooptic current measurement and magnetooptic current-measuring devices are specified, which are independent of temperature influences on the measurement result and require no compensation device for the light intensity of light sources (LD1, LD2) employed. Light beams (1, 2) from the two laser light sources (LD1, LD2) are alternately polarized orthogonally relative to one another by means of a beam splitter (3), and are transmitted to light detectors (D.sub.A, D.sub.B) via collimators (4, 6), which are connected via a polarization-maintaining high-index birefringent HI fiber (5), through a magnetooptic current sensor (7), an analyzer (10), 2 collimators (11, 12) and multimode fibers (13) and (14). 1st and 2nd light output signals S.sub.A1 and S.sub.B1 as well as 3rd and 4th light output signals S.sub.A2 and S.sub.B2 are derived sequentially in time from the light detectors (D.sub.A, D.sub.B).
