  • Patent number: 10399730
Abstract: A set of multicomponent cartridges is proposed having at least two multicomponent cartridges (2), with each multicomponent cartridge (2) including at least one first and one second reception chamber (3, 4) for components to be dispensed, with each reception chamber (3, 4) having a substantially cylindrical design and extending in a longitudinal direction (A), with the reception chambers (3, 4) being arranged parallel to one another and having the same extent (L) in the longitudinal direction (A), with each multicomponent cartridge (2) being manufactured in one piece so that their reception chambers (3, 4) are non-releasably connected to one another, and wherein the first reception chamber (3) of each multicomponent cartridge (2) of the set (2) has the same outer diameter (D1).

  • Patent number: 6695028
Abstract: A conveyor system conveys a plurality of printed products along a path of travel in an imbricated stream and such that a border region of each printed product is exposed by the imbricated overlap. A contrast panel (14), which forms a text panel (12), is applied to the exposed border region of each printed product (10). The contrast panel is provided with the text (18) and the contrast panel forms a contrast with respect to the text (18), with the result that the latter can be immediately seen and read easily. In one embodiment, the contrast panel is applied by printing, and in another embodiment, the contrast panel comprises a separate label which is adhesively applied.

  • Patent number: 6569817
Abstract: A composition containing an anti-static agent and a lubricant for treatment of a surface of a flat article (2) so as to define point of separation of a plurality of at least partly superimposed flat articles. Due to the lubricant, the friction coefficient between the treated surface and a surface of an adjacent article and, therefore, the static friction between the two articles is reduced. Due to the anti-static agent, static charging of the treated article and, therefore, adhesion between articles obtainable through static charging is reduced. In a plurality of superimposed, flat articles statically charged in a d.c. voltage field, the named two effects produce a displacement at the location of a treated surface, when a displacement force (11) with a component parallel to the principal surfaces of the articles is applied to the plurality of articles.

  • Patent number: 6512665
Abstract: A static charge is produced on surfaces of superimposed, flat articles (2) by passing the superimposed articles (2) through an electric d.c. voltage field that is oriented substantially perpendicular to the principal surfaces of the articles. Due to the charging, electric forces of attraction between the surfaces of the articles increase the mutual adhesion of the flat articles. The effect of the static charging is reduced or prevented for at least one of two surfaces participating at a predetermined separation point, by treating the surface beforehand with an anti-static agent (3). Due to the anti-static agent there is little or no charge concentration on the surface such that there is little or no increase in adhesion at the separation point. Thus, at the separation point it is possible to displace the articles against one another with much smaller force expenditure than is required to displace the articles at non-separation points.

  • Patent number: 6173555
Abstract: Discrete lengths of a web (1) of sample bags are each arranged in a container in an ordered manner such that each web can be removed from its container (13) without additional aids by pulling on a head end (A) of the web length, and so that the tail end (E) of each such web length can also be gripped without changing the web arrangement in the container and independently of the fullness of the container. For feeding sample bags into a processing station, a first container is positioned in the region of the feeding location and the head end (A) of the web length is pulled out of its container and led to a feeding mechanism of the processing station. During the feeding of the first web length of bags into the processing, further containers are formed into a series of containers by connecting the tail end (E) of the web in one container to the head end (A) of a web length in the following container.
