  • Publication number: 20230130113
Abstract: The invention relates to a magnetic-inductive flowmeter for measuring the flow of a flowing, conductive medium. The flowmeter has a measuring tube, a magnetic field generating device, two pin shaped measuring electrodes, insertion parts each having a through-hole through which the two measuring electrodes respectively extend, the measuring electrodes have at least in sections a non-circular cross section and the through-holes of the two insertion parts have a contour complementary thereto. The pin shaped measuring electrodes are at least partially provided with an external, thread and a nut is respectively screwed thereon, by means of which the measuring electrodes and the associated insertion parts are respectively firmly connected to the measuring tube.

  • Publication number: 20170369523
Abstract: Template-fixed ?-hairpin peptidomimetics of the general formula wherein Z is a template-fixed chain of 8 ?-amino acid residues which, depending on their positions in the chain (counted starting from the N-terminal amino acid), are Gly or Pro or of certain types which, as the remaining symbols in the above formula, are defined in the description and the claims, and salts thereof, have agonizing or antagonizing activity against urotensin II or show inhibition of the STAT6/NCoA-1 interaction and can be used for preventing or treating diseases or disorders related to urotensin II, STAT6 and NCoA-1. These ?-hairpin peptidomimetics can be manufactured by a process which is based on a mixed solid- and solution phase synthetic strategy.

  • Patent number: 7283372
Abstract: Circuit element having a first layer composed of an electrically insulating substrate material, a first electrically conductive material which is in the form of at least one discrete area, such that it is embedded in or applied to the substrate material, a second layer having a second electrically conductive material, and a monomolecular layer, which is composed of electrically active molecules which transports charge carriers, arranged between the first layer and the second layer. The monomolecular layer is immobilized and makes electrical contact with the second layer. Each of the electrically active molecules has a first unit, which is used as an electron donor, a second unit, which is used as an electron acceptor, wherein the electron donor and the electron acceptor form a diode, and at least one redox-active unit, by means of which a variable resistance is formed, arranged between the first unit and the second unit.

  • Patent number: 6998637
Abstract: The circuit element has a first layer composed of an electrically insulating substrate material and a first electrically conductive material which is in the form of at least one discrete area such that it is embedded in the substrate material and/or is applied to the substrate material. Furthermore, it has a second layer having a second electrically conductive material, and a monomolecular layer composed of redox-active bispyridinium molecules, which is arranged between the first layer and the second layer. The bispyridinium molecules are immobilized on the electrically conductive material which is in the form of at least one discrete area, and make electrical contact with the second electrical material of the second layer. Furthermore, electrically inert molecules are immobilized on the first layer, which molecules form a matrix which surrounds the at least one discrete area with the monomolecular layer composed of bispyridinium molecules.

  • Patent number: 6219135
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and a method for the optical recording of at least one parameter on a longitudinally moved thread-type material. To enable parameters such as the diameter of a thread-type material, the diameter of a yarn package, the hairiness of a yarn etc. to be determined more simply and more accurately, an optical sensor composed of at least two individual sensors (30), in which at least one individual sensor is so constructed and arranged that at least one measured value is recorded digitally for a parameter, is to be used to record in parallel from the material at least two signals, one at least of which is clocked.
