  • Patent number: 11076818
Abstract: A method for operating the X-ray device, which includes a detector, a radiation source, or a C-arm including the detector and the radiation source, and an articulated arm and a base. Initially, a starting position of the X-ray device is specified with respect to the detector, the radiation source, or the C-arm, and the articulated arm, and an end position of the X-ray device is specified at least with respect to the detector, the radiation source, or the C-arm. A plurality of paths that may be followed by the articulated arm and the detector, the radiation source, or the C-arm on movement from the starting position into the end position are automatically determined. One path of the plurality of paths for the movement of the X-ray device is selected, and the X-ray device is moved into the end position.

  • Patent number: 10509137
Abstract: A method is provided for monitoring the exposure to radiation of medical personnel during an X-ray examination of an examination object with an X-ray apparatus. A monitoring unit is activated and continuously scans a first three-dimensional volume that includes a region directly irradiated by the X-ray beam, for objects. When an object is detected, automatic evaluation is performed as to whether the object is a human body part that does not correspond to the examination object and a signal or a display is output if a human body part is determined inside the three-dimensional volume that does not correspond to the examination object.

  • Publication number: 20190057779
Abstract: Handling of a medical system is improved. A method for operating a medical system includes acquiring parameter values that describe a current situation of the medical system finds. A situation identifier is determined for the current situation from the acquired parameter values. The parameter values are checked by corresponding values in a database, from which the corresponding values are obtained based on the determined situation identifier. A notification is then output if at least one of the parameter values for the current situation does not match one of the respective corresponding values in the database, or one of the parameter values is automatically set in accordance with the corresponding value from the database.
