Abstract: A single, handheld medical device for performing an endometrial abrasion and/or HSG procedure is disclosed. The preferred embodiment comprises a body that includes a handle integrally connected to an arm with an articulating member at its distal end. The handle comprises a means for storing and pumping a fluid into the uterus so that ultrasound or x-ray can be used to determine the location of the articulating member within the uterus. The arm further comprises a shielding device that is operable to slidably engage the arm of the device and the shield and the arm are configured to cover and sealingly engage the external os of the cervix to prevent reflux during use. Optional viewing means are disclosed, including an imaging screen mountably attached to the device and in communication with a scope disposed within the arm.

Abstract: A dorsiflexion assisting device for Hemiplegics, comprising a first strap for extending around the calf of a wearer, a second strap for extending around an ankle region of the wearer, a connecting element extending between the first strap and the second strap, a securing member adapted to be fixed to the wearer's shoe so as to provide a securing point at the outer side of the shoe, at or forward of the instep region thereof, and a connecting member extending between the second strap and the said securing point, one or both of the connecting element and the connecting member being of elastic material.

Abstract: An improved and more versatile space divider system for open office interiors includes as a major component a structure beam or spine supported at each end by vertically adjustable legs. Feet on the legs provide the required lateral stability to support or hang components such as work surfaces, filing systems and the like from the beam. Each beam includes two enclosed electrical ducts on the top thereof superjacent work surface height, such ducts being provided for power and communication wiring respectively, with the latter being above the former and laterally enlarged. The power wiring duct is prewired with outlets on both sides, while the communications wiring duct includes both lateral and top access. The legs have a smooth exterior surface yet permit beams to be connected thereto at a wide variety of angles. Enclosures or fillets for the beams and legs permit the ducts to pass through the legs fully enclosed.

Abstract: A space divider system which includes a plurality of posts and at least one beam assembly wherein the posts and beam constitute a raceway for receiving electrical and communication wiring for the transmission of electrical energy at work table height and wherein the posts and beam constitute a rigid structure for supporting various components such as lighting, acoustic panels, table and work surfaces, file storage bins and the like. Means are provided for interconnecting said posts and beam or beams in a manner facilitating the passage of wiring therebetween and addition means are provided within said posts for levelling a beam supported therebetween.
