  • Patent number: 11883918
Abstract: A measuring system monitors a spindle. The measuring system includes a cylindrical housing which can be arranged in and mechanically firmly connected to a spindle housing. A carrier ring is arranged inside the cylindrical housing. Three sensors for measuring a radial displacement and three sensors for measuring an axial displacement of the spindle are distributed over a circumference of the carrier ring. The sensors are cast with the carrier ring.

  • Patent number: 8511184
Abstract: Device for taking samples from the bottom boundary layer of a water body, consisting of compact bottom sediments, overlying water-saturated mud layer, and near-bottom water layer directly connected with the latter, belongs among oceanographic devices. Disturbance of the probes' structure is avoided by the construction of the device with several shorter tubes with their inlet holes being located at different heights, instead of one long sampling tube. There are distinctive tubes for taking samples from layers at different heights from the bottom. The sampling tube divided into sections is furnished with isolating valves that divide the interior of the tube into layers isolated from each other. Soft and regulated drop of the device is achieved using the inflatable contact belt. Using an upper inflatable balloon avoids the vertical stability of the device and raising it to the surface without cabling.

  • Publication number: 20110083520
Abstract: Devices using a winch are currently used for taking samples in the boundary layer formed at the bottom of a water basin. In order to minimize the potential mixing effect at the whole length of the sampling tube, the design is presented where the sampling tube disassemble into sections is provided with horizontal valves dividing the interior of the tube into layers isolated from each other in the presented application, several shorter sampling tubes are used with their inlet holes being located at different heights. Thus, layers located at different heights are sampled by different sampling tubes. Substitution of contacts elements (shoes) with a contact surface, e.g. inflatable support belt, guarantees the stability of the sampling tube on the soft bottom. To ensure the vertical stability of the sampling tube, the device is provided with an upper stabilizing balloon.

  • Patent number: 6231276
Abstract: In addition to having a stop member in the form of a hollow cylinder which is slotted and can be spread by means of an adjustment screw, an adjustable stop for a cutter adjustably arranged in a main casting or body of a tool is also provided with a sleeve member which can be inserted into a longitudinal bore of the stop member. The sleeve member has inside threads which can be brought into engagement with the adjustment screw. This results in an improvement of the load carrying capacity of the threaded connection. Since the sleeve member can move in the adjustment direction, the bending load on the adjustment screw is reduced.

  • Patent number: 5062309
Abstract: A device for taking samples of bottom sediments from water basins includes at least one vertical sectional coring tube having a closed upper end provided with a check valve. The device includes, in the form of a cover, also a device for preventing the loss of a taken sample in the process of the device lifting, closing in a rest position the open lower end of the coring tube and being connected with the movable rod. The rod is secured by hinges to the carrying element. The upper end of the coring tube is secured to the carrying element.

  • Patent number: 4996887
Abstract: A device for taking samples of bottom sediments and bottom water from water basins comprises at least one vertical sectional coring tube having a closed upper end provided with a check valve. On the upper end of the coring tube a bathometer is secured so that the upper end of the coring tube is at the same time the lower end of the bathometer. The bathometer has in its upper end a check valve, a means in the upper part for intake of air and a means in the lower part for release of bottom water. The coring tube is secured by its upper end to the carrying element.

  • Patent number: 4709584
Abstract: A device for taking samples of bottom sediments from water basins, comprises a vertical sectional coring tube, a ballast weight, rod-type vertical supports and shock-absorbing units. The latter are made in the form of hollow cylinders with closed ends, with a plunger in each cylinder and installed in parallel with the coring tube from the outside. A hole is made in the upper and lower ends of each cylinder, and passed through the holes in the lower ends are the rod-type supports each of which is rigidly connected by one end with a respective plunger.
