Abstract: Fibrin-binding molecules are provided which include at least one peptide essentially corresponding to one or both of the following portions of the natural fibronectin molecule. The first portion is that portion which includes the .sup.4 F1..sup.5 F1 module pair of fibronectin and includes no more of the natural fibronectin molecule than the N-terminal 25.9 kDa proteolytic fragment. The second portion includes the .sup.10 F1..sup.11 F1 module pair of fibronectin and includes no more of the natural fibronectin molecule than the C-terminal 11 kDa proteolytic fragment. Also disclosed are nucleic acid molecules encoding the fibrin-binding peptides, methods for making the peptides, methods for using the peptides in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular, peripheral vascular, cerebrovascular, and other conditions associated with fibrin deposition, and assay methods for detecting a fibrin-binding molecule and for measuring fibrin.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a game device including a playing surface having games scoring indicia thereon by plural spaced regions each having point values, a sealed chamber underlying and coextensive with the playing surface containing plural magnets, in which the chamber is so fashioned that the magnets are constrained to remain oriented in one vertical alignment and are incapable of rotation. The magnets all have the same polarity proximate to the playing surface, and a further magnet is provided on the top playing surface which initially is oriented with its magnetic polarity similar to the magnets within the chamber in close tangential relation so that upon shaking the game device, the further magnet on the top face will be caused to flip over indicating that the magnets therebelow have been randomly redistributed. At least one die is then thrown to determine the number of markers to be cast. The markers are formed from spheres having polarities reactive to the magnet's polarity within the chamber to be cast.

Abstract: A dust ruffle for use over a bed frame to provide a desired fabric enclosure for the lower portion of a bed. The dust ruffle is formed with a top portion overlying the top of the bed frame, and preferably arranged over the conventionally employed box spring. A vertically extending portion comprising a skirt or flounce is connected to the top portion, and this skirt or flounce extends down to a point touching, or in close proximity, to the floor. The skirt or flounce extends along two sides, and the foot of the bed. The vertically extending portion of the dust ruffle further comprises a retaining panel or flap secured along the head end of the top portion and is dimensioned to securely engage the rear vertical surface of the bed frame or box spring.
