Abstract: A cosmetic composition comprising a first composition comprising an inorganic heat generating agent that generates a heat by mixing with water; and a second composition comprising a cationic surfactant system comprising a mono-alkyl quaternized ammonium salt cationic surfactant, a high melting point fatty compound, and an aqueous carrier; wherein the ratio of the first composition to the second composition is from about 35:65 to 98:2; the difference in viscosities between the first and second composition is less than 3.5 Pa·s; the first and second compositions are kept separate from one another until dispensed; and the cosmetic composition when dispensed has a warming benefit.

Abstract: A rinse-off hair treatment product with a multi-chamber tube package that can contain a dual-phase rinse-off hair treatment composition that can provide a warming sensation and hair conditioning. The multi-chamber tube package can be a tube-in-tube package with an outer tube with an outer chamber that contains a conditioning composition and an inner tube with an inner chamber that contains a warming composition. The inner chamber is fluidly connected to one or more central orifices by an inner nozzle channel and the outer channel is fluidly connected to one or more outer orifices by an outer channel. The ratio of the area of the central orifice(s) to the outer orifice(s) can be greater than 1. The ratios can help the product dispense as a single stream with two visible phases, which has been found to prompt the consumer to intuitively mix the composition, thereby activating a warming sensation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hair conditioning product comprising a first composition and a second composition, wherein the first and second compositions are kept separate from one another until use, wherein the first composition comprises: a cationic surfactant; a high melting point fatty compound; and an aqueous carrier, wherein the second composition comprises: a cationic polymer; and an aqueous carrier, and wherein the first composition and/or the second composition further comprises a silicone compound. The product of the present invention provides improved free flowing (i.e., reduced clumpy hair) on dry hair, while not deteriorating other benefits especially friction on dry hair.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method of treating the hair, the method comprising: a) applying to the hair a shampoo composition comprising a detersive surfactant, wherein the shampoo composition is substantially free of silicone conditioning agents and/or cationic conditioning polymers; b) rinsing the shampoo composition from the hair; c) applying to the hair a conditioning composition comprising a silicone resin and an aminosilicone, wherein the aminosilicone has non-quaternized and/or quaternary amine functional groups. The present invention provides improved conditioning benefits such as hair manageability and/or reduced frizziness/friction.
