  • Publication number: 20240140724
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a device for data processing and a computer system for controlling a control device of a conveyor system to achieve an alignment and/or a defined spacing of piece goods, wherein the control of the control device is determined by an agent acting according to Reinforcement Learning methods. An individual, local state vector of predefined dimension that is the same for all the piece goods is created for each of the piece goods and an action vector is selected from an action space according to a strategy that is the same for all piece goods for the current state vector of this piece good. These action vectors are projected onto the conveying elements, wherein conflicts are resolved. After a cycle time has elapsed, state vectors are created again for each piece good and evaluated with rewards and the strategy is adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20240085378
Abstract: A consumption meter, e.g. a water or heat meter, for measuring a flow rate of a fluid supplied in a flow tube. First and second ultrasonic transducers are arranged at the flow tube for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic signals transmitted through the fluid and operated by a flow measurement sub-circuit for generating a signal indicative of the flow rate of the fluid. A noise measurement sub-circuit operates a sensor arranged at the flow tube for detection of acoustic signals of the flow tube, and being arranged to generate a signal indicative of a noise level of the flow tube accordingly. This sensor may comprise a separate transducer, or the sensor may be constituted by one or both of the first and second ultrasonic transducers. The consumption meter may communicate data representative of the noise level via a communication module along with data consumed amount of water, heat etc.

  • Publication number: 20230187070
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for identifying a diagnosis of a cancer condition for a somatic tumor specimen of a subject. The method receives sequencing information comprising analysis of a plurality of nucleic acids derived from the somatic tumor specimen. The method identifies a plurality of features from the sequencing information, including two or more of RNA, DNA, RNA splicing, viral, and copy number features. The method provides a first subset of features and a second subset of features from the identified plurality of features as inputs to a first classifier and a second classifier, respectively. The method generates, from two or more classifiers, two or more predictions of cancer condition based at least in part on the identified plurality of features. The method combines, at a final classifier, the two or more predictions to identify the diagnosis of the cancer condition for the somatic tumor specimen of the subject.
